Our process begins with a thorough assessment. Whether you're dealing with a malfunctioning unit, planning a replacement, or seeking proactive maintenance, our trained technicians will evaluate your entire system. We check airflow, refrigerant levels, electrical components, ductwork, and thermostat operation to build a complete picture of your home's unique HVAC profile.

For installations and replacements, we guide you through every option. We explain the efficiency ratings, sizing requirements, and features of various models, including high-efficiency heat pumps and traditional AC units, ensuring you make an informed decision without pressure. Our factory-authorized Carrier® training means we install your system precisely to manufacturer specifications, maximizing its lifespan and performance.

Why choose Ellis for your home? Because we treat your home like our own. We provide written, easy-to-understand proposals before any work begins, so there are no surprises. Our commercial services cover installation, maintenance, repair, and ventilation for a wide range of businesses. We work on rooftop units (RTUs), packaged systems, split systems, and more. We believe in a proactive partnership. Our planned maintenance programs are designed to prevent costly breakdowns during peak seasons. During scheduled visits, our technicians perform detailed inspections, clean critical components, calibrate systems, and identify potential issues before they escalate into emergencies. This approach extends equipment life, improves energy efficiency, and protects your bottom line.

When your air conditioner fails on the hottest day of the year or your heater quits during a cold snap, you need help fast. Ellis Air Conditioning & Heating offers reliable 24/7 emergency HVAC repair services throughout Dallas, providing peace of mind that expert help is always just a phone call away, day or night, weekends and holidays included.

Our emergency process is streamlined for speed and effectiveness. When you call, our dispatcher will gather essential information to prepare our on-call technician. We prioritize true emergencies to ensure those in urgent need receive prompt service. Upon arrival, our technician will quickly diagnose the problem, explain the issue and the required repair in plain language, and provide a clear estimate before proceeding with any work.

We carry a comprehensive inventory of common parts on our service vehicles to resolve many issues in a single visit. For more complex repairs requiring specialized parts, we will implement a temporary solution when possible to restore basic comfort and schedule the final repair as soon as the part arrives. Our goal is to get your system running safely and effectively, not just apply a temporary fix.

Trust Ellis in an emergency because of our deep local knowledge and commitment to honesty. We've been answering emergency calls in this community for 50 years. You'll never encounter pressure to replace a unit that can be repaired, nor will you face inflated "after-hours" pricing surprises. We believe that how we handle your worst day defines our relationship, and we strive to turn a stressful situation into a demonstration of our dependable, trustworthy service.
