“These scam artists destroyed my yard. First off, they didn't show up until Thursday when they originally were originally supposed to show up Tuesday. They charged us $60 for this nonsense. Missed half the yard, uncut patches everywhere. Whole sections were left untouched, zero weed whacking, giant piles of grass covering the entire yard that will absolutely kill the grass if I don't intervene. The only reason we had someone cut it for us is because our mower is down waiting for a part, what a mistake. Now I get to spend the next two hours after work on a weeknight fixing this absolute joke of a mowing, hoping that there is no permanent damage. To anybody who is even considering using this lawn demolition service: for the sake of your yard, use someone that knows what they're doing.
To be clear to anyone reading this review, I later learned that Lawn Starter is not a lawn care service. They are a lead generating business that sells it leads to the cheapest bidder. There is no accountability nor any control on quality. Moral of the story: shop local...”

“Lawn starter was a easy experience to start service and a help, but unfortunately the edging wasn't getting done. Nor did the pictures requested before each cut was not sent out before each cut. Also they failed to inform me that they contract out the service. I was thinking it was in house, which is no problem until its a problem. Like now, I discontinued my service, but I asked for a refund for not edging from pictures sent after the last service, they said they was willing to give something back, but I need to prove it...problem with this is you contracted the service out, I don't know these ppl. How am I to get these pictures if I have no means of talking with them other through service line which seems not to work because I have gotten pictures and they never acknowledge any of my correspondence.”
