Gus Ayala Handyman

Your floors are the foundation of your home's interior design and comfort. If you're dealing with uneven surfaces, outdated materials, squeaky boards, or worn-out carpet and tile, Gus Ayala Handyman provides comprehensive flooring solutions to restore beauty and safety. We serve homeowners and businesses throughout Gilroy who want durable, great-looking floors without the headache of managing multiple contractors.

Our flooring process begins with a thorough assessment of your subfloor to ensure it's level, dry, and ready for new material. We specialize in tile, vinyl, laminate, and hardwood — offering full replacements, targeted repairs, and professional refinishing. For tile, we use precision cutting and grouting techniques for a seamless look. Vinyl and laminate installations are completed with moisture barriers and tight seams. Hardwood refinishing involves sanding, staining, and sealing to bring back natural warmth. No matter the project, we focus on proper subfloor preparation, high-quality materials, and meticulous installation methods.

Why choose us for your flooring needs? We bring mobile convenience — we come to you — and we back our work with warranties. We also respect your timeline and clean up thoroughly after every job. The result: a smooth, polished floor that enhances your property's value and daily living experience. Contact Gus Ayala Handyman to schedule your free floor assessment in Gilroy today.

A well-designed landscape transforms your outdoor space into a welcoming extension of your home. At Gus Ayala Handyman, we help Gilroy residents and business owners turn neglected yards, patchy lawns, and dull patios into practical, attractive environments. Whether you need a complete yard overhaul or simple cleanup, we handle everything from grass installation to paver layouts and drainage solutions.

Our landscaping service starts with a consultation to understand your vision, sunlight patterns, and maintenance preferences. We then design a sustainable plan that includes synthetic or natural grass installation, strategic planting for year-round color, and hardscaping features like walkways and patios using durable pavers. We pay close attention to drainage — grading soil and installing French drains if needed — to prevent water pooling and protect your foundation. For existing lawns, we offer aeration, weed control, and seasonal cleanup to keep everything healthy.

What sets us apart? We don't just make things look good for a week; we build landscapes that last. Our team uses quality materials, proper soil preparation, and plants suited to Gilroy's climate. We also work efficiently to minimize disruption to your daily life. From mulching and pruning to full design and installation, Gus Ayala Handyman is your local partner for outdoor beauty and functionality. Few home improvements deliver as dramatic a transformation as a fresh coat of paint. Peeling, fading, or simply outdated colors can make even a well-maintained house feel tired. Gus Ayala Handyman offers professional interior and exterior painting services for homeowners and commercial clients throughout Gilroy. We prepare every surface with care, apply paint evenly, and leave you with crisp, clean lines that last.

Our painting process is thorough: we begin by moving or covering furniture, patching holes and cracks in drywall, and sanding rough areas. We then prime surfaces to ensure adhesion and true color, especially when covering dark shades or new drywall. For exteriors, we power-wash siding, scrape loose paint, and caulk gaps before applying weather-resistant paint. We use high-quality brushes, rollers, and sprayers to achieve a smooth finish on walls, ceilings, trim, fencing, or siding. We also clean up completely when the job is done — no drips, no dust, no mess left behind.

Choosing our painting service means you get more than a color change. You get protection against moisture, UV damage, and everyday wear. A fresh coat can increase your home's value, improve indoor air quality (with low-VOC options), and create a mood that reflects your style. Whether you need one accent wall or a whole-house refresh, Gus Ayala Handyman delivers precision and reliability. Call us today for a complimentary painting consultation in Gilroy.
