Figlia & Sons Inc

As the premier provider of Simon-Aire equipment in Manhattan, Figlia & Sons Inc is your expert source for Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner (PTAC) solutions. These self-contained units are the lifeblood of many multi-room buildings, hotels, healthcare facilities, and apartments across the city, providing efficient and independent climate control for each space.

Our PTAC service is designed for property managers, developers, and building owners who require reliability and speed. We begin with a comprehensive survey of your site to understand your specific heating and cooling loads, electrical requirements, and aesthetic considerations. From there, we recommend the ideal Simon-Aire PTAC or water source heat pump model from our vast, on-hand inventory.

The installation process is seamless. Our certified technicians handle everything from the safe removal of your old unit to the precise installation and commissioning of your new system. We ensure proper sealing, insulation, and electrical connections to maximize efficiency and prevent air or water leaks. But our relationship doesn't end at installation. We offer proactive maintenance plans to keep your PTACs running smoothly, reducing costly emergency repairs and extending the lifespan of your investment. For repairs, our centrally located Manhattan warehouse means we can often provide same-day service, minimizing tenant discomfort.

Choosing Figlia & Sons for your PTAC needs means partnering with a company that stocks over 4,000 units for immediate delivery. You benefit from our 50+ years of specialized experience, our direct partnership with top manufacturers, and our unmatched logistical advantage in Manhattan, ensuring you're never left in the heat or cold for long.

When a central HVAC system isn't feasible, a reliable window air conditioner is essential for comfort. Figlia & Sons Inc provides comprehensive window AC services for Manhattan residents and businesses, offering everything from expert installation of new units to fast, effective repairs for existing ones.

This service is perfect for renters, condo owners, older buildings, or single rooms that need targeted cooling. We understand that improper installation is a leading cause of inefficiency, noise, and even safety hazards like units falling from windows. Our technicians are trained to install window units securely and correctly. We assess the window type, ensure a proper and sealed fit using appropriate mounting hardware and weather stripping, and verify the electrical circuit can handle the load safely. We also stock a wide variety of new window AC units from top manufacturers for immediate purchase and installation.

For repair services, we troubleshoot and fix common issues such as poor cooling, strange noises, water leaks, electrical problems, and faulty thermostats. Our process involves a thorough diagnosis, transparent pricing, and quality part replacements. We service all makes and models, whether we installed them or not.

Opting for Figlia & Sons means you avoid the risks of a DIY installation or an unqualified handyman. Our expertise ensures your unit operates at peak energy efficiency, saving you money on bills, and most importantly, is installed securely to protect your property and those below. As a local, family-owned business with deep roots in Manhattan, we stand behind our work with integrity and a commitment to your complete satisfaction.
