“I called Simon because that’s what the secretary told me to do. She said he’ll call you back in 15 mins Simon takes an hour to call me back then he sends his two Brazilian guys augustin and alix who were very unprofessional. The guys asked me not to use credit card because Simon takes it al for his kids and that they need me to Zelle or Venmo them. I said no problem, but wait and when I leave my room they are installing the plywood and metal sheet that was covering an open hole behind a dishwasher.‘I told them my home was mice infested and that their repairs would really help me because I’ve done the wall behind the oven and fridge with another handyman from task rabbit that did a phenomenal job. They bought the metal sheet and asked for my measurements and everything to seal the walls behind the washer/dryer and dishwasher. They quickly said they didn’t know anything about mice stuff and even threw away my mouse poison that my expensive exterminator left. I told them clearly their are mice here and they are the poison. Alix tells me I don’t know how they are getting through your door, they can’t fit, I told him they can squeeze through a ballpoint pen, very unprofessional and greedy men, and have little knowledge about handyman repairs. Don’t trust them!

“Beware Handyman Same Day Harlem. Not handy. Not same day.
Failing to live up to the ``Same Day’’ name, a technician, Anthony, called back the next day, the 20th, and made an appointment for the following day, the 21st,, two full days from my initial call – or it would have been, but I ended up waiting all day. He never showed up. I called again and he said he would come the next day, the 22nd.
When he arrived, I explained what was happening with the washer. Then, without ever even turning the machine on, he said the problem was the computer that regulates the cycles needs to be replaced. He asked for $200 cash to buy the piece and he gave me a receipt for the work to be done.
Several days later, he returned and after working on the washer, told me it was fixed.
I asked him to turn on the machine to check if it was ok. The problem remained the same.
He then looked under the machine and decided that the problem was with another part. I told him that, as I had already paid for a part that was not actually defective, that other part should be exchanged at no extra cost. He agreed but asked me to give him the rest of the budget (another $ 145), to buy the new piece.
Then he disappeared. He doesn't reply to calls and messages and now all I get is a recording saying his mailbox is full.
So I called the company and the person who answered said she would contact the manager about the matter.
Today I called them for the third time. Monica, the same person I spoke with before, answered. She apologized and told me that she would contact the manager.
She asked me to send a photo of the receipt. I asked for the manager's phone or email to send it but she said she was new to work and didn't have his phone number. (I thought this was a little weird.)
I'm still waiting for the machine to be repaired. In the meantime, I'm having my laundry done and paying for it.”
