At Cold Stinger, we specialize in fast, reliable emergency AC repair to restore your comfort and protect your system from further damage. Our process is designed for speed and accuracy, ensuring we fix the real problem the first time.

This service is for any homeowner experiencing a sudden loss of cooling, whether your system is running but blowing warm air, won't turn on at all, is tripping breakers, or you're seeing water leaks or frozen coils. We understand the panic that sets in when the temperature inside starts to climb. That's why we advise an immediate first step: shut the system off to reduce the risk of compressor damage, then call us for professional diagnosis.

Our diagnostic-first approach means we don't guess. We perform comprehensive testing on critical components—capacitors, contactors, coils, refrigerant levels, and electrical systems—to pinpoint the exact failure. You'll receive a clear explanation of what happened and why, along with your verified repair options. For true emergencies where your home is heating up rapidly, calling us directly is the fastest path to help. We are your local, trusted partner for getting your cooling back online, safely and efficiently.

Investing in a new air conditioning system for your Phoenix home is a significant decision. With the extreme desert heat demanding peak performance for months on end, a proper installation is just as critical as the equipment you choose. At Cold Stinger, we provide complete AC installation and replacement services backed by meticulous planning and Phoenix-focused expertise. We ensure your new system is sized, configured, and installed to deliver optimal comfort, efficiency, and longevity.

This service is ideal for homeowners with aging systems (often 10-15 years old in our climate) that are becoming unreliable or inefficient, or for those building a new home or addition. A proper installation goes far beyond swapping units. We conduct a thorough evaluation of your home's unique needs, including load calculations to determine the correct size, assessment of your existing ductwork for airflow performance, and planning for SEER2 efficiency ratings that make sense for the long Phoenix cooling season. Getting the sizing and airflow wrong can lead to poor comfort, short cycling, and reduced system life.

Our process is transparent and collaborative. We provide clear options and detailed quotes, helping you understand the value behind different systems. We handle everything from permitting to final testing, ensuring the installation meets the highest standards of workmanship. By choosing us, you're not just getting a new AC unit; you're getting a Phoenix-ready cooling solution designed to withstand the heat and provide reliable comfort for years to come.

Strange noises, weak airflow, intermittent operation, or rising energy bills—these are all signs your HVAC system needs expert attention. At Cold Stinger, our comprehensive diagnostic and repair service is built for Phoenix homeowners who value accuracy and longevity over quick fixes. We focus on root-cause analysis to ensure repairs are effective and lasting, saving you money and hassle over time.

This service is for any homeowner experiencing performance issues with their heating or cooling system that aren't yet a full-blown emergency. Common symptoms we address include warm air from certain vents, the system running constantly without reaching the set temperature, unusual sounds like grinding or squealing, and a noticeable spike in your utility costs. Our methodical approach is designed to uncover underlying issues that a less thorough inspection might miss, preventing future breakdowns.

Our certified technicians use advanced tools to test all aspects of your system's performance. We check airflow balance across your vents, measure electrical currents to components like motors and compressors, evaluate refrigerant charge and coil conditions, and assess system pressures. Before any work begins, you'll receive a straightforward explanation of our findings and a prioritized list of repair recommendations. We believe in honest advice—if a repair is the smart choice, we'll execute it with precision. If your system is nearing the end of its serviceable life, we'll provide clear replace vs. repair comparisons so you can make an informed decision for your home.
