Our design-build approach means we can help you plan the most efficient electrical layout before breaking ground, reducing change orders and material waste. With decades of experience in Dallas, we understand local amendment codes and utility requirements, so your inspection process goes smoothly. Choose DRECO for electrical construction that’s built to last and backed by a team that treats your project like our own.

Moving into a new space or refreshing an existing one? Dave Riddle Electric Co specializes in commercial finish-outs and remodels for retailers, restaurants, medical offices, and professional buildings in Dallas. We work within occupied spaces to minimize disruption, often after hours or on weekends, so your business stays open. Our electricians install energy-efficient LED lighting, dedicated circuits for equipment, power drops for workstations, and code-required emergency lighting and exit signs.

For remodels, we assess your current electrical system’s capacity and upgrade panels, wiring, and outlets to handle new equipment or layout changes. We also handle specialized needs like datacomm rough-in, security pre-wiring, and AV support. Since 1987, we’ve helped hundreds of Dallas businesses transform their spaces without electrical headaches. Our process includes a detailed walkthrough, transparent quote, and clean-up after every shift. Let us make your remodel or finish-out seamless—just tell us your vision, and we’ll power it to life.

Get more value and fewer surprises with Dave Riddle Electric Co’s design-build electrical services for Dallas commercial projects. Unlike traditional bid-build, our team collaborates with you from the earliest concept stage, offering electrical engineering and installation under one contract. This means we can suggest cost-saving alternatives, catch code issues before drywall goes up, and provide accurate budgets with fewer change orders.

Our design-build process starts with a needs assessment: what equipment will you run? How will traffic flow affect lighting and outlet placement? Do you need special power for HVAC or kitchen equipment? We then produce a complete electrical plan and timeline. As a licensed contractor with over 35 years of local experience, we’ve design-built everything from church sanctuaries to retail shell buildings. For Dallas business owners who want a single point of responsibility and an electrical system designed for efficiency, DRECO is the clear choice.
