About CT Moving and Storage
CT Moving and Storage, which was initially known as Flynn Moving and Storage in 1987, started as a freight forwarding business. As time passed, we identified the necessity for a more personalized service and moved our emphasis to providing credible moving services for individuals and families. As the demand increased, we diversified our services to both residential and business moving throughout Connecticut. With the acquisition of seven moving companies to our family, we've been able to keep growing, update our fleet, and offer great service to our loyal clients. Today, we're proud to serve the community, with more than 50 years of experience assisting Connecticut property owners move.

Our Services
Moving
We handle moves of every size across Connecticut, from a single room to a full household. Our crews start with a walk-through so we understand what needs to go, how much access the origin and destination have, and what needs special care. We pack what you ask us to pack, wrap furniture and fragile items, load the truck, and unload at the new address where you want things placed. Our roots go back to 1987, when we began as Flynn Moving and Storage, so we have a long track record of moving people'...
Movers in Connecticut
Our team is made up of experienced movers who do this work every day across Connecticut. We lift, carry, protect, and place your belongings with care, whether you need help with a few heavy pieces or a complete household. Over the years we have built a fleet that suits different loads and access situations, and we keep our equipment up to date. Because we came out of freight forwarding and later focused on personal moves, we bring a practical understanding of how to plan a move so it runs smooth...
Residential moving
Home moves are personal, and we treat them that way. Our crews protect floors, doorways, and furniture, disassemble and reassemble beds and tables when needed, and set up each room as you direct at the new home. We have been moving Connecticut homeowners and renters since 1987, and our growth over the decades reflects the trust families have placed in us. Whether you are moving across town or into a new house in another part of the state, we plan the job around your schedule and the layout of bo...
Commercial moving
We also move businesses throughout Connecticut, handling offices, shops, and other workplaces with the same care we give homes. A business move has to be done without losing too much time, so we plan around your operating hours and organize the work so your staff can keep going. We move desks, equipment, files, and inventory, and we label and arrange items so they are easy to unpack at the new location. Our experience serving both residential and business clients gives us a practical sense of wh...
Southington movers
If you are moving in or around Southington, we are ready to help. Our crews know the roads and neighborhoods of the area and plan each job with the property layout in mind, including stairs, tight driveways, and parking. We provide packing, loading, transport, and unloading for homes and businesses, and we take care to protect your belongings from start to finish. Our company has served Connecticut property owners for more than fifty years, and we bring that experience to every local move. Call...
Long-distance moving
When your move takes you beyond Connecticut, we plan the trip with the same attention we give local jobs. We coordinate loading, transit, and delivery, and we keep the schedule clear so you know when your belongings are expected. Our crews protect and secure everything for the trip, and we work with you on timing and access at both ends. Our history of freight forwarding gave us experience with moving goods over distance, and our years of residential work taught us how to handle a family's posse...
Storage services
We offer storage services in Connecticut for households and businesses that need a secure place for belongings during a move or a transition. Items can be stored between your move-out and move-in, or kept longer if you need the space. We can handle the packing and transport to and from storage, so your goods are moved in one coordinated process. Our business has been part of Connecticut's moving community for many years, and our familiarity with handling items carefully carries over to storage....
Family moving
Moving a family takes patience and planning, and we work to make the day as calm as possible for everyone. Our crews take time to understand what matters most to you, protect the items you care about, and keep the process organized from packing to unpacking. We have been helping Connecticut families relocate since 1987, starting with the personal service that set us apart from our early freight work. Whether you are moving across the state or to a new home nearby, we will walk you through the pl...
