A damaged sewer line is one of the most disruptive and potentially expensive plumbing problems a property owner can face. Atlantis Plumbing is an industry leader in sewer repair and replacement in Fulton County, offering both traditional and advanced trenchless solutions. We begin every job with a thorough video camera inspection to accurately diagnose the issue, whether it's a root intrusion, a crack, a severe belly, or a fully collapsed line.

For many situations, we recommend and expertly execute trenchless pipe replacement (pipe bursting). This innovative method allows us to replace your old, damaged sewer line with a new, durable High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe by pulling it through the existing path. The benefits are significant: no massive trenches destroying your yard, driveway, or landscaping; a faster completion time; and a new pipe with a 100-year service life and seamless, root-proof joints.

Our process is meticulous. A state-licensed plumber specializing in underground work supervises every project. We work with utility locators to ensure safety and carefully plan the pull to avoid any existing connections. Whether your home needs a simple spot repair or your commercial property requires a full line upsizing, we have the expertise and technology to provide a lasting, cost-effective solution that saves your property from unnecessary destruction.

If your home in Fulton County was built between the late 1970s and mid-1990s, it may have polybutylene (PB) plumbing pipes. These gray plastic pipes are prone to deterioration and sudden failure due to chemical reactions with public water disinfectants, leading to leaks, water damage, and high repair costs. Atlantis Plumbing has made polybutylene replacement one of our core specialties, with over half of our business dedicated to solving this widespread issue.

We are the clear, experienced choice for whole-house repiping projects. Our team is expertly trained in removing the fragile polybutylene system and replacing it with reliable, modern materials like copper or CPVC. We understand the intricacies of these systems, including improper installations that can accelerate failure, such as over-stressed joints or pipes damaged during construction.

We don't just swap pipes; we provide a comprehensive solution. Our plumbers will conduct a full assessment of your water pressure, as high PSI is a common contributor to PB failures. We ensure the new system is installed to code, with proper support and room for expansion. For homeowners facing this inevitable problem, choosing Atlantis means choosing a team that has successfully completed thousands of these repipes, offering financing options, minimal disruption to your home, and the confidence that comes with a permanent fix to a ticking time bomb in your walls.

Slow drains and stubborn clogs are more than a nuisance; they can be a sign of developing blockages or pipe damage. Atlantis Plumbing offers professional drain and sewer cleaning services for Fulton County homes and businesses, using the most effective tools for the job, including state-of-the-art hydro jetting technology.

We tackle all types of drain problems: clogged kitchen sinks from grease and food, hair-blocked shower and bathroom drains, stopped-up toilets, and main sewer line blockages that cause multiple fixtures to back up. For simple clogs, we use powerful motorized augers (snakes). For tougher jobs involving grease, scale, or root buildup, we employ hydro jetting. This process uses ultra-high-pressure water streams (up to 4000 PSI) to scour the entire interior pipe wall, blasting away all debris and restoring the pipe to near-original flow capacity. It's an environmentally safe, highly effective alternative to chemical drain cleaners.

Our service goes beyond just clearing the immediate clog. We can use video inspection cameras to look inside your pipes after cleaning to identify any potential issues like cracks, offsets, or corrosion that could lead to future problems. As a full-service plumbing company, if we find damage, we can repair it. Trust our experienced team to get your water flowing freely again and provide honest advice on maintaining your drainage system.

A hidden water leak can waste thousands of gallons, spike your water bill, and cause unseen structural damage or mold growth. Atlantis Plumbing employs expert leak detection and repair services in Fulton County to find and fix leaks quickly, saving you money and protecting your property. We offer a complimentary high water bill analysis to help determine if a leak is the culprit.

Our technicians use a combination of advanced technology and proven methods to locate leaks without unnecessary destruction. For underground or in-wall leaks, we utilize ultrasonic listening devices to amplify the sound of escaping water, helping us pinpoint the source with precision. We also use electronic pipe tracing equipment and video inspection cameras. For outdoor service line leaks, we follow strict safety protocols, first calling the Utility Protection Center to mark public lines before any exploratory digging.

Once the leak is located, our licensed plumbers provide a clear, upfront repair plan. This may involve a targeted repair of a section of pipe, a rerouting of the line, or a full replacement if the piping material is compromised (like polybutylene). We handle leaks in water supply lines, sewer lines, under slabs, and in irrigation systems. Don't let a mystery leak drain your wallet—our prompt, professional detection and repair service will give you peace of mind and stop the water loss for good.
