About Ace Van & Storage
Ace Van & Storage has been a respected name in moving and storage since 1946. Established in Waterbury, Connecticut, we've had more than 75 years of reliable relocation experience. We've been an agent of United Van Lines since 1986 and are experts at both local and interstate moves. Our 30,000 sq. ft. Cheshire warehouse provides safe storage options for residential and commercial customers. In 1998, we grew through the acquisition of Sciarra Moving and Storage, expanding our capacity to address the moving needs of Connecticut even further. Our Services
Moving in Connecticut
Moving is a job that goes better with a crew that has done it for decades. We have been handling household and business moves since 1946, and our Waterbury roots mean we know Connecticut roads, buildings and the little details that slow a move down. We plan the job with you, pack and load carefully, and keep you informed through the day so nothing catches you off guard at the other end.
Movers
When you need movers you can count on, you want people who take the time to understand your home or office before the truck arrives. Ace Van & Storage has been in the business since 1946, and we are run by Erin and Carrie O'Connell, who give each move personal attention. Our team handles the heavy lifting, the wrapping and the careful placement of your belongings, and we stay in touch so you always know where things stand.
Long-distance moving
Long-distance moves ask a lot of planning, and we have been doing them since we became a United Van Lines agent in 1986. We handle interstate relocations with the same care we bring to local jobs, coordinating the route, the schedule and the delivery through a network of moving professionals across the country. Your belongings are tracked from pickup to drop-off, and our team stays in contact so the move feels organized from start to finish.
United Van Lines agent
We have been an authorized agent of United Van Lines since 1986, which gives our customers access to a national network for moves across state lines. As a locally owned company based in Connecticut, we manage your move directly while drawing on that network for interstate and long-distance work. You deal with a team you can reach by phone, and we handle the coordination behind the scenes so your relocation runs smoothly.
Storage solutions
Sometimes a home or office needs a place to hold belongings between moves, renovations or life changes. Our 30,000 square foot warehouse in Cheshire offers storage options for both residential and commercial customers. We work with you to find the space that fits what you need to store, and we handle the transport in and out so your items arrive where you expect them, when you need them.
Residential moving
Moving a household means handling furniture, fragile keepsakes and a schedule built around family life. We have served Connecticut homeowners and renters since 1946, and we take the time to understand each home before packing begins. Our crews protect floors, walls and doorways, pack with care, and set your furniture where you want it. Our owners stay involved so every move gets personal attention from start to finish.
Commercial moving
Business moves need to happen with minimal disruption to operations, and we plan around your schedule and workspace. Ace Van & Storage has moved commercial clients across Connecticut for decades, and our Cheshire warehouse gives business customers a secure place for equipment and inventory when needed. We coordinate the timing, handle sensitive items with care, and keep communication open so your team can focus on getting back to work.
Secure storage
Storing belongings means trusting that they will be kept safe and dry, and that is the standard we hold our Cheshire warehouse to. The facility covers 30,000 square feet and serves both residential and commercial customers. We handle items carefully when they come in and go out, and our team is available to talk through what you plan to store and how to arrange it for easy access later.
