Heat pumps are the future of home comfort, and A-1 Guaranteed is Solano's leading expert in all-electric heat pump systems. Unlike traditional furnaces or air conditioners, a heat pump provides both heating and cooling from a single, ultra-efficient unit. By moving heat rather than generating it, heat pumps can reduce your electricity usage for heating by up to 50% compared to baseboard heaters or furnaces.

We specialize in helping homeowners transition away from gas-powered equipment to meet California's clean energy goals while enjoying consistent comfort and lower utility bills. Our team is factory-trained on all major brands including Trane, Carrier, and Mitsubishi, ensuring expert installation every time. We also handle all heat pump repairs, from refrigerant leaks to reversing valve failures, with same-day service available.

When the summer heat hits Solano, you need an air conditioning system you can rely on. A-1 Guaranteed Heating & Air offers complete central air conditioning services—from new installation and replacement to troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance. As a Trane Comfort Specialist and Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer, we install high-SEER systems designed to cool your home faster while using less energy.

Is your AC blowing warm air, making strange noises, or short-cycling? Our NATE-certified technicians can diagnose the problem quickly and provide upfront, honest pricing before any work begins. We also offer emergency repair services because we know a broken AC can't wait. For homeowners with older, inefficient units, we'll help you calculate potential energy savings and available rebates to make an upgrade affordable.

Preventive maintenance is key to longevity. Join our Kasey's Club maintenance plan to receive bi-annual tune-ups, priority service, and discounts on repairs. Our thorough 18-point inspection catches small issues before they become costly breakdowns. Don't sweat through another summer—trust the company voted Best Heating & Cooling for 19 years running.

Hot water is something you expect every day, but traditional tank water heaters waste energy keeping 40-50 gallons hot around the clock. A-1 Guaranteed Heating & Air offers two superior alternatives: tankless water heaters and heat pump water heaters. Both options dramatically reduce your energy bills and provide endless hot water on demand.

Tankless water heaters (also called on-demand or instantaneous water heaters) heat water only when you turn on the tap. They're compact, mount on the wall, and last up to 20 years—nearly twice as long as a tank model. Our team installs gas and electric tankless units from Rinnai, Navien, and Rheem, and we'll help you size the unit for your household's peak demand so you never run out of hot water during back-to-back showers.

For the ultimate in efficiency, consider a heat pump water heater. These units pull heat from the surrounding air to warm your water, using up to 60% less electricity than a standard electric water heater. Plus, they dehumidify and cool the space where they're installed—perfect for Solano garages and basements. We're a participating contractor with Golden State Rebates, and we'll handle all paperwork to get you cash back. Free estimates on all water heater replacements.
