“We cannot, in good faith, recommend this company. We hired Rocky and his business partner weeks in advance for a major job that was scheduled and confirmed. Less than 24 hours before the work was supposed to be completed, they canceled with no professional explanation and no effort to provide a solution or alternative. Canceling a confirmed job at the last minute—especially one that clients plan around—demonstrates a serious lack of professionalism and reliability. Even more concerning was the absence of proper follow-up or customer service after the cancellation. If you are considering hiring this company, be aware that they have shown a willingness to leave customers in a difficult position with virtually no notice. For time-sensitive or important projects, this is not a risk we would advise anyone to take. Edit: unfortunately, reading the below reply is disheartening at the dishonesty this company would take. There was no change in scope or price - as a matter of fact the quoted price by Rocky was agreed upon but greed was taken into consideration when scheduling and not the clients best interest. We suspect canceling our project for a bigger project last minute was done leaving us in an awful position. So after reading this reply and taking no accountability we have to stand firm on this review and warn others to think cautiously before agreeing to work with Rocky or his business partner. And, yes - we are a local small business in Austin and have always wanted to support small businesses but negating this fact only speaks more to the lack of professionalism in their reply. APMC laid me a new quality driveway in one day with erosion barrier, and also excavated in front of my garage to lay a new concrete pebblestone pad 10' x 50'. “The initial drive and storage area were laid down by Rocky and Gene a few years ago, we had one of our local neighbors come out and do the sealing job for us. However, that was a mistake because here we were 18 months later and it didn't even look like it had been sealed. I decided to call Asphalt Paving and Maintenance to come out and have a look, got a quote that was almost identical to what I paid previously, however they used a vastly superior method to seal and repair the asphalt. It looks amazing and they were great to work with. I certainly know who I'm calling when it comes time to reseal it again.”
