He (can’t remember his name if he even stated it) asked could I text my cars information and the service I needed done as he would need to look everything up to give me a quote then call me back. “I called this mechanic to get a quote on getting a vehicle fixed. He wanted $95 Zelle payment up front which I was hesitant to do but really needed to get this car looked at. And since it’s a hybrid I was a little limited. When I told him my concern he said “I’ve been in business a long time, I’m not going to do anything shady.” I trusted him and he showed up the next day. That was 8/31. I waited a few days for the quote but when I got nothing I reached out to him but didn’t get a response. After calling him on a weekend (because you know…it’s listed as a business phone) he called me back a few days later and asked “who’s this you called me?” I told him and he said he wasn’t in the office and to call back the next day. I did as he asked and no answer. I finally had my boyfriend reach out. Not only did he answer his call but he had a full discussion with him and said again he would get the quote out. It is now 9/12 and I have yet to receive a return phone call, a quote or any kind of communication. I didn’t pay him to go and look at the car and keep the information to himself. I paid him to diagnose my car, tell me what was wrong and provide me with a detailed quote. I got nothing but wasted time and money.
Update: Ulysses reached out to me to let me know he already sent it. I didn’t receive anything and he seemed to have a hard time finding it. I let him know that once I receive it, I’ll edit my review.
Update 2: I finally received the quote snd he states that he misspelled my name in my email address. I completely understand that mistakes happen but if I had received a call back or return text message, he would have known that I didn’t receive it. I shouldn’t have to call and text multiple times to not get a response and then post a bad review in order to get what I paid for.”
