We had some wind-driven rain with the last hurricane, and it caused some “microbial growth” in our baby’s nursery. Eliot came out to take a look the day we discovered it, helped diagnose the issue, and let us know that (given the small affected area) we could likely do the job ourselves. Eliot was not only right, but he was courteous and professional throughout and even offered to check back anytime if we were concerned of things changing. I will 100% recommend Eliot and EE&G to anyone I know in need of mold remediation services, or anyone who thinks they might need it. “Had a major leak throughout the walls of my coffee shop/bakery. Kirk at EE&G had the best crew! They came in tested the walls to fine exactly what needed to be replaced. They replaced all the walls after drying out what they could. They used plastic to prevent major dust issues inside while working and kept everything extreme clean. “Edit June 2nd 2024 - In addition to not knowing what they're doing the owner replied to this review blaming us and flat out lying. Additional reasons to avoid EE and G. ADDRESSING HIS LIES -->> We work from home so EE and G had unlimited & unfettered access to the home anytime they needed it (Lie #1). All delays were 100% their fault due to incompetence (Lie #2). It was an insurance claim so there weren't any "budgetary" constraints (Lie #3). Our "old house" had mold and asbestos 100% related to the claim otherwise Citizens wouldn't have paid for the removal and remediation (Lie #4). My assumption is all 5 star reviews are bought because it's quite coincidental they all start showing up within days of each other. Beware of this company's lies and incompetence. The Original Review Follows -- >> Atrocious. Claim filed Nov 2022. EE&G assigned Jan/Feb 2023. Still waiting on them to finish almost a year after the claim. Required by Citizens insurance to use them. Every step of the way is a delay because the left hand doesn't communicate to the right hand. I sincerely think this is their first project. If citizens assigns them to you, require a new contractor. Jan 2024 Citizens Insurance got rid of them, requested reimbursement from them is what I was told, and then assigned a new company to rip out the incorrect work EE and G did, restarting all over. An entire year wasted, lost because of the incompetence.”

“Underwhelmed. Yes, they showed up to help with the leak cleanup...two guys; the one who was the worker barely spoke any English, and the other seemed to be the guy who "represented" them. But the following days, only the non-English guy showed...which was a big issue when you could not figure out what the plan was...because what they were describing made little sense (ie, unhooking the water heater to get behind it, re-hooking it, and then coming back a week later to do the repair and again move the water heater?). They were supposed to show up to meet my claims examiner, but arrived an hour late, and again it was only the Spanish speaking guy, and by chance the claims adjuster was in her car, doing follow-ups. And she couldn't really understand the guy, either.
So, I declined moving forward with them for the actual repairs!!”

“So my insurance assigned me to this lady Jasmine Almanzar and her customer service are the worst. Never respond to text or calls. I’ve been sitting at home waiting for her to show up and never showed up. After many calls and text (no response). she finally picked up and said all meeting were canceled due to the hurricane. I was never notify that it were cancel and no apologies from her. I even texted her an hour before confirming the appointment but no reply. She told me that she’s not going to show up ( which is fine) but then she hung on me. I have small children w a leaking floor and trying to prepare for the hurricane, but instead I wasted 5 hours just to sit at home waiting for her. Very unprofessional and rude.”
