“I am editing my previous review after realizing that we got the short end of the stick. We had the water heater fail and these guys came to do water damage mitigation and reconstruction. The job was small (even their estimator told me on that day that it was a small job). Coming from a place where insurance companies don’t try to bury you we decided to make a claim anyway (also advised by this company to do so). They charged thousands to the insurance company for that job. To be fair, the construction job was good – I mean sure, they charged 10 times the cost to the insurance cie. A few months later we had an unrelated water damage (again, small job but we still contacted them since we didn’t know what was going to hit us). And again they advised to go with an insurance claim. Charged thousands to the insurance once more for something that would not cost more than 1 or 2 sheet of drywall, paint and a half day of labor. And by the way, charging $2500 to bring in 2 fans to blow for 3 days, which by the way we paid the electricity for, is borderline scam. Few months later the insurance hits us with a 250% premium increase. As I said I come from a country where insurance don’t do this and my fault for not checking the contract in more details but in the end, this company knew what they were doing and got generously paid by the insurance company, and the insurance company is getting paid by us for the next 5 years. “When our upstairs air conditioner decided to leak over the summer, water poured through the attic, ruining the insulation, soaking the ceiling, and dripping down onto my stair case. I asked around to see if anyone I know has a referral. I was referred to LV Restoration and gave them a call.
I spoke with Nubar who was very quick to set up an emergency visit and provided a thorough explanation of the process. Once he arrived, analysis of the moisture in my ceiling and walls was done right away with a thermal camera which also showed us that the water had leaked all the way down to my kitchen ceiling!
Targeted demolition was done carefully and minimally to ensure proper inspection can be done without expanding the repair job. 3 day drying was completed with large air movers and dehumidifiers throughout the attic and affected areas to ensure everything was dry. Mold prevention was also done with antimicrobial treatments to areas necessary to give us a piece of mind. All in all, great work and would recommend.”
