“I'm a local real estate Broker/Property Manager. After failed attempts to get bids with 2 or 3 other Gutter Repair companies, I tried Gutter Systems of So. Az.
I manage the HOA of a small 18 unit Townhome complex, and needed a bid on extending 2 downspouts. I also wanted to get an estimate to install new downspouts (in the future) on ALL 18 units, just for uniformity.
Upon calling the number, I got (Office Manager?) Bernadette, who was pleasant & professional. I offered a couple photos and texted them to her. She said she would schedule with Eric (Owner?). Eric went to the Property on Jan. 27th and verified the 2 units, and what I wanted done (extended). I thought all was going good, and waited a week or so for an estimate, but never heard anything. On Feb. 10th I texted Bernadette about the status of the bid, but got no response. Since I initially had been dealing with Bernadette, I didn't bother to text Owner and ask him what was going on.
This seems Par for the Course with Gutter companies in Tucson. Either no response at all, or offering their service at first, and then just blowing the potential client off. It's a sad state of affairs finding good help around Tucson. It seems ever since COVID, many Vendors have used that as an excuse for mediocrity. Maybe business is booming in the Gutter business, so much that they can afford to just blow off potential clients.
