“i was happy w my initial service back in December/november 2024, but i called yesterday to see about getting a second opinion for my car after another mechanic told me my engine was shot, and the experience I had w the man on the phone wasn’t too good. it seemed like he took my concerns as me saying he messed something up w my car (“all i did was the oil change I didn’t touch the engine”) and kept trying to speak over me, so i had to interrupt & say “that’s not what im saying. I just need a second opinion.” And he was like oh okay okay. so we scheduled something for 9 the next day.
after work, i meant to call the other mechanic to request a ride back and accidentally tapped Jerry’s number instead - I didn’t hear that he said “Jerry’s” and I was asking for a ride which confused him. after realizing I called the wrong number, I profusely apologized and he just hung up on me. I get I made a mistake but like…im human. And you shouldn’t treat people like that. A simple “no worries, have a good day,” could go a long way w someone.
I won’t be bringing my car in this morning, will take it somewhere else. Again, I appreciate the work he did on my car towards the end of last year, but this small experience left me feeling disrespected. Just wanted to bring the importance of kindness to your attention because you never know what kinda days people are having.”

“The owner is very personable. He makes you feel comfortable and the work he and his team do, is great! He is true to his estimates, doesn't try to take advantage of a person that has no knowledge of cars, and his prices are reasonable.
Here it is, 2 years later…I still bring my car to Jerry, and my daughter’s car, too. I trust him more than any other auto shop I’ve gone to prior to him. He goes above and beyond every time. As long as I’m in Waterbury, I will never bring my car anywhere else.

“I can’t say enough good things about this business. My wife and I developed car trouble while en route for vacation in Canada. We had to pull off the interstate at 4pm on a Friday afternoon. Three shops refused to even allow us to come by to at least investigate what was going on. Jerry not only welcomed us to stop in, but stayed open and spent nearly 4 hours past closing time (on a Friday!) to get us fixed and back on the road. His price was very fair considering all the work that was required. We are sincerely grateful for his willingness to go above and beyond to help us out. Great, competent, and fair service.
