“I used this company in 2020 to replace my roof. Not long after they replaced my roof, it started leaking in 3 different places, and I also can see some wavy areas on my roof. I feel like I was ripped off (and my insurance company as well). They also charged my insurance company for services that they did not provide. They charged for removing and replacing the chimney flashing, but did not do the work, and that is one of the places where it has been leaking. When you pay a company top dollar for a new roof, you expect it to not leak within a year and a half. I did contact them to complain, but they would not even come out to take a look because they were too busy because of a storm. They also told me my warranty was void because there was a storm, even though I have photos of the water stains on my ceiling BEFORE the storm. They also told me that they do not do roof repairs, only complete roof replacements/re roofs. How can you refuse to do roof repairs on the roof that YOU installed wrong? I had less problems with my 18 year old roof than the new roof that they installed. JA Edwards does shoddy work and very poor workmanship. No wonder they only give a 2 year warranty on their workmanship, because they know their work is is poorly done and they cannot stand behind their work. Now I am stuck paying another roofer thousands of dollars to fix the damage that JA Edwards has done to my home. You can bet that I will be filing complaints on this company, as well as looking into legal recourse. See photos depicting some of the damage that JA Edwards has caused to my home. **********In response to the owners response, the leak from the solar panels is just ONE of the leaks due to YOUR company not installing and sealing the solar properly. By the way, that was never resolved completely. Your solar department did not fix this. It still leaks and I have water stains all over my ceiling that you should have taken care of. One of the other leaks happened 18 months after you installed our new roof. This leak is from around the chimney because you did not remove and replace and seal the flashing. My insurance company paid you to do this and you did NOT do this. You ripped us both off. By doing this shoddy work, you have caused damage to my home that is costing me thousands of dollars to repair. Do you honestly think that there are any excuses for a brand new roof to leak in several places in less than 2 years? My 18 year old roof was better than your new roof. In fact, almost every time it rains I am finding new leaks in different spots on the roof. I paid for a brand new roof for my home and I get nothing, except for damage to my home, and a dishonest company that will not fix the damage that they have caused. The contract I signed on May 14, 2020, states that I have the silver warranty, which was hand written on the top by your sales person, John Stinnett. This was never explained to me. I have never had such a terrible experience in my life with ANY company. I also see you have a long history of complaints with the Better Business Bureau, and some of the complaints are identical to the experience that I have had with you.”
