“In August 2025, the historic Villa Philmonté - a 1927 historic house museum at Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, NM - was hit by a devastating freak hailstorm. Over 100 windows were broken by massive hailstones and the entire interior of the building was impacted by shattered glass and water, dirt, and debris infiltration.
Dalworth Restoration was recommended to us to handle cleaning this historic museum facility and returning it to visitable condition (which includes visitors being able to remove their shoes for tours). The crew we worked with from start to finish over a period of several months was beyond incredible. Not only did they travel all the way from the DFW area to northern New Mexico twice, they handled a top to bottom deep clean of the building and the historic artifacts inside with care and professionalism. They were communicative, collaborative, and kind throughout the process and left our museum even better than it was before the storm.

“While most of the teams we worked with at Dalworth were pleasant enough, Dalworth Restoration as a company and our Project Manager were not. Our Project Manager was unethical, a bully, and condescending. Dalworth hit our insurance company for more than $450,000. Every time I received some portion of the money owed to Dalworth from the insurance company, I turned around and paid Dalworth that full amount within 48 hours. I was texting back and forth about outstanding monies the insurance company still owed Dalworth with their controller regularly. However, rather than say anything in that ongoing conversation, they filed a lien against US for a small amount of money that the insurance company contractually still owed them. This is just typical of a year of interacting with Dalworth management. Again, not the teams of workers that show up for your emergency, but the company and its management are there to take advantage of your tragedy, gouge your insurance company, and treat you disrespectfully.”
