My existing driveway was a disaster; three layers and nearly 13" thick of concrete, asphalt, and another layer of concrete. They not only did an amazing job of excavating the old driveway (avoiding my water and gas lines that ran underneath it), but also worked diligently to ensure my new driveway would drain properly away from my yard and garage (handling all the city permits and inspections along the way).

“We recently hired Ballard's to remove and replace a couple sections of our old concrete driveway that had been broken up over the years by the roots of a large tree. His crew did a fantastic job! All the broken concrete and rubble were completely removed - paying extra attention not to damage any of the tree roots - and hauled away.
The new sections were designed to accommodate the tree roots and very smoothly blend in with the remaining original sections of the driveway. After compacting some fill and laying out a sturdy rebar reinforcement grid, a substantial layer of concrete was poured and leveled. The result is a neat, smooth replacement in the driveway.
We are extremely satisfied with the result! The whole crew was very attentive to all of the details and thoroughly cleaned up after the job was completed - in less than 2 days!
