“I wanted to take a moment to review my experience installing a residential solar system with ATMA Energy. I manage Industrial Engineers for my job and have a general knowledge of business, improving efficiency and customer service. Like many first-time solar customers, I spent several months reviewing multiple solar companies in the San Antonio area to ensure I chose a reputable company that follows through, and that customers speak highly of. I ultimately chose ATMA Energy because it felt like a company of technical experts and Engineers vs. the traditional business model focused on marketing and sales to get in and out moving on to the next customer. I am so glad I chose ATMA Energy. From the beginning, working with the sales team, Chris was awesome, patient, and knowledgeable about the technology and options that would work best. I originally went in with one idea and expectation for my setup to create a carport and patio with panels to knock out two birds with one project. To Chris’ credit he explained the pros and cons to my idea and was willing to execute my idea for an elevated ground mount. Chris even had his Engineering team draw up a mock estimate on what I wanted along with two more options that included a traditional roof mount as well as a ground mount in a better area on my property. Just like he had communicated, my original idea was a non-starter due to the expense of trenching from one side of the property to the opposite side where my meter is located. I appreciated the company’s willingness to not blow off my idea and share with me multiple proposals allowing the customer (me) to make the ultimate decision based on what was most important. The ultimate system I went with included 60 panels and 2 batteries. Thank you Chris! Once the contract was signed things went quick, with introductions to the project managers and office manager, Dee who was excellent in communicating the next steps along with a projected timeline. Dee was awesome communicating at just the right amount and very responsive to my questions about progress. I know the city and CPS Energy can take time to review and approve plans and the original project was estimated to take about 10 weeks total. I was very fortunate that the plans were approved quickly and ultimately the overall project only took about 6 weeks, but that is abnormal. Everyone I interacted with from the company was extremely patient and professional. Not once did anyone avoid me when I approached them and everyone was friendly and willing to explain their job from the delivery driver of my panels to the electricians and project manager. Rodrigo, the project manager, was easy to talk to and explained everything that was happening for the installation. Gerald, the lead electrician, was also helpful in explaining the installation process, testing and the overall system. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the install and how well they cleaned the area once complete. They managed the inspections with the city and CPS, which both passed the first time. It is evident by the quality of their work and the clean install that this company and it’s employees take pride in their work ensuring a good reputation to drive future business. Once the install was complete and I had a couple weeks to get acquainted with the system and mobile application, I was contacted by Jacquie, a customer service rep. She helped in answering any additional questions I had about the system and app as well as closing the loop on my overall experience and interest I may have in ongoing maintenance. I can’t say enough good things about ATMA Energy and I would highly recommend this company for your solar installation!”

“We had a fantastic experience with ATMA Energy installing our solar and battery backups at our home in San Antonio -- we recommend them very highly. The design process, pricing, installation, and service has been superb over the past several years. After a lot of door-to-door solar salespeople offering shady solar deals, we did some research and interviewed many different solar installers. After we settled on ATMA, the design process was smooth and comforting with knowledgeable engineers answering our questions and taking our requests into account (e.g. installing our battery backup inside our house). The installation went smoothly, and they even were good enough to run an electric line outdoors to install a car charger for us (for no extra fee)! I always had reservations on what the service would be like, but after 3 years I can say that it has been excellent! As with all things, parts break and maintenance needs to be done. Both ATMA and Enphase recognized parts which needed servicing (either broken or malfunctioning; sometimes before I noticed anything wrong), contacted me to schedule a repair, and provided quality service for no fee (most of our equipment is under a standard 20-year warranty). We have been very happy with ATMA Energy!”
