“We just had them come to our house and do a full detailing. They did a decent job so I am not complaining about that. However we were quoted $225 on the phone, and once they were completely done and we paid them were told, no it is $275. I have a strong dislike for a bait and switch so want to warn others about such shady business practices, and will not use them again.
In response we called you on Monday 12:15 PM and were quoted $65 for the basic and $225 for the full detail. We booked the basic. After speaking (and sending a text to my spouse we decided instead to go with the full detail) we called back on Monday 15 minutes later at 12:28 PM and said we instead wanted to go with the full detail. You are correct we were not quoted a price in the second conversation, but believed the price we were quoted 15 minutes earlier was valid. We did tell you what sort of car we had, so yes you saying the price for a full detail is $225 would imply to us you were quoting it for our vehicle not some random other vehicle. And you are also correct that you send a text of a price list when you arrived which we did end up looking at, but went off the price we were quoted. Again, we will not use a company that says one thing and does not honor it relying on "well we quoted you for a small suv, and you were sent a price list as we showed up"”
