“I hired Mold Inspection and Testing for a home inspection service specifically focused on identifying mold in my home. Unfortunately, my experience with this company was highly unsatisfactory, and I would strongly advise against using their services. I’d also highly recommend reading their BBB reviews before hiring them.
Firstly, during the inspection, the technician arrived at my home without utilizing any of the tools that were prominently advertised on their website and for which I had paid. These tools, such as a moisture meter and thermal imaging device, were crucial for accurately detecting hidden mold. Instead, the inspector merely glanced around without conducting a thorough investigation.
To make matters worse, when I specifically pointed out a water-damaged baseboard adjacent to the shower, the inspector dismissed it as a non-issue and told me it was nothing to worry about. However, four months later, I decided to seek a second opinion from another mold inspection company. Surprisingly, their inspector discovered mold behind the exact baseboard that I had initially mentioned to Mold Inspection and Testing, by simply using the tools that were supposed to be used in the first place. Furthermore, additional areas of mold were found in the floors and another baseboard, all of which went unnoticed during the previous inspection.
Dishearteningly, my attempts to contact Mold Inspection and Testing regarding these findings have been met with complete silence. They have ignored every email I sent and failed to address my concerns or provide any form of resolution. This lack of professionalism and accountability is unacceptable, especially when considering the health consequences that I have had to endure due to their negligence.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by Mold Inspection and Testing. They not only failed to fulfill the basic requirements of the inspection I paid for but also disregarded my subsequent attempts to seek clarification and assistance. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction is disconcerting.
I strongly caution others against entrusting this company with any mold-related inspection needs, as they have proven themselves to be unreliable, unresponsive, and ultimately ineffective in carrying out their advertised services.
