“Horrible.I was Lied to about the rate they charge to diagnose the issue and when I called to clarify the difference in charge I spoke with Meggan who was very rude, unprofessional and barbaric. She went to the extent of hanging up on me after telling me this is what it is and what i am responsible for. Poor representation of this company who is by far the most expensive AC place to contact for any service. If I can give them zero stars I would!!!! Mind you they installed my new AC unit....stay away if you can!!!”

“Price was competitive however service was poor. A/C was purchased and installed on 4/29/20. I had it serviced on 4/30/21 and was told that the refrigerant was a little low and that after an installation the unit adjusts to the home and needs to be "dialed in" approximately 2 weeks later. The sub cooling was 1 - 1.5 degrees and the superheat was 24 degrees. A.C. Guru recommended I call the company that did the installation and have them top up the refrigerant. Ameritech said this is not part of their service and I will have to pay for a service call to check to see if my system has a leak and that their installers would have put the correct amount of refrigerant when it was installed. They only warranty the installation and the inspector passed the inspection. I’m not sure if the inspector tests the cooling and heating when they test the installation and I’m don’t see how the maintenance company would gain by bleeding the refrigerant and then telling me to call the installer and have them top up the refrigerant since the system is new. At this point I have to conclude Ameritech did not put the correct amount of refrigerant when they installed the A/C and handler or they sold me a defective system as refrigerant doesn’t just disappear in a closed system. The system needed approximately 2 lbs of refrigerant according to the technician. Buyer beware the company might be short filling the refrigerant when they do the installation. I will try to update this review once I confirm the refrigerant does not have to be refilled in the near future i.e. the new A/C, handler and copper pipes do not have a leak.
