“Months after buying a Sun City Summerllin house with a 30 yr. old roof, the rains came and the leaks began.
A Step Above came out the next day and inspected the multiple areas leaking as well as the entire roof. From the start, communication was straightforward and simple in explaining the pros & cons of just fixing the leaks or replacing the entire TILE ROOF.
Both estimates were very reasonable compared to other companies we consulted with, so we opted to redo the entire roof that came with a 10 YEAR WARRANTY.
The office, Project Manager George and Owner Jeremie were always available to us throughout the entire process and even afterwards, which meant a lot to us. The work crew was punctual every day, were super professional and extremely friendly. Each phase was either delivered or done on time as scheduled.
We were so happy we went with A Step Above and never worried again when it rained or the heavy winds came up. They are a reputable company and do a lot of roofs in our community and are highly respected.
When we sold the house, Jeremie took it upon himself to forward our records and transfer the warranty to the new Buyer, an act we found to be so above and beyond professionalism.

They layed double under-layment and brand new roof tiles to our single-story house and it took about 8 1/2 days of work; they had to cut short the work on one of the days due to high winds. Anyway, we couldn’t be any happier with the results and ease of doing business with them. They were on time, did the work efficiently and with little fuss, and they cleaned up after they did the work. “I'm extremely satisfied with A Step Above Roofing company. I received quotes from three roofing companies and chose this company to complete the job. They are professional, courteous, upfront and reasonably priced.
When I spoke to Jeremy (owner), he went over the quote and took the time to explain what needed to be repaired. He was genuine, honest, to the point and didn't pressure me to choose them for the job. He graciously thanked me and said to call if I had further questions.
His workers showed up about 5 mins early (which is on-time in my book). The head foreman introduced himself and asked to have access to my back yard, in case any tiles or debris fell into the yard. It took them approximately 4 hours (as he said it would) and cleaned up the perimeter surrounding my home before leaving.
The office staff, Marina in particular, was very responsive to my emails and phone calls. She was very patient when I needed to reschedule and found a day and time that worked for my schedule. This was the icing on the cake...when Marina sent me the invoice via email, she included photos of the work that was completed on my roof, Wow! That saved me from taking a ladder to the roof to see what was done. A very nice touch, I might say.
