We hired JR Landscapes to overhaul our front yard and couldn't be happier with the results! Not only are Gustavo and his crew extremely friendly and professional, they went above and beyond to achieve quality results and execute our vision. Gustavo also thoroughly cleaned up the job site every night. The job consisted of demoing some old concrete, installing a new retaining wall, flower beds, concrete sidewalk, concrete stairs, fence and landscape lighting. Gustavo does it all! Gustavo was very patient with us as we changed a couple aspects during the process and accommodated all our requests. Gustavo even came back to change a couple things we weren't happy with and guaranteed all his work to our satisfaction, he is definitely the guy to hire for any landscaping needs.

UPDATE 2: Literally had everything I ever needed for the yard done by this business. Asked them to replace another fence and put sidewalk around the house. Very happy. So quick to always help me. UPDATE: I had JR Landscapes come out and do a new fence for me as my 2nd time using them and Gustavo and team did amazing on the fence. Finishing early even. One of the team members even came back to water seal the fence for me. THANK YOU ALL! ORIGINAL: Grass was no longer an option for my aging self and wanted to be able to allow the dogs free range of the entire yard for the remainder of their lives without dealing with the fungus issues, heat, Japanese beetles, and grasshoppers, as well as all other pests anymore that the grass has caused me.
Was looking for anyone willing to come just do an estimate and the first business was shady and unreliable and would not get back to me. I messaged this one next and they responded, promised a time to come out, he was right on time that day, and evaluated everything quickly. When it came time to do the work, he came 5 days early to start already and the team finished in 2 days! I didn't care about anything fancy i just wanted a place for the dogs. They also made sure i had better edging and made me a concrete base for a future shed. Im pleased with the timeframe everything was accomplished and very happy with the outcome.

This is a long overdue review as we spent the past 6 months outside enjoying our yard. Once you see the transformation that Gustavo and his crew did on it, then you will understand why!
Our yard wraps around our house and is very influential to my family's day to day life as we enjoy being outside. When we first met Gustavo, our yard was just a dirt yard segmented into odd sections with a tired shed and a falling apart raised garden bed.
We had an idea on how to make each section more cohesive and fluid but Gustavo made sense of it and made it come alive. Across the project, Gustavo collaborated with us on our idea, communicated the plan everyday and was open to last minute adjustments. On top of that, his crew was cleanly, timely and efficient. Very professional!
In the front yard he created a mulch border around our trees and reinstalled the irrigation. The entire backyard was completely overhauled with a new pavement patio, custom built raspberry bed, grass patch (for the dog), pebble stone raised bed section, flagstone pathway with a parallel straw bed, flagstone sitting area, mulch border and reinstalled the irrigation system to fit the new layout. Gustavo and his team completely transformed my front yard with a new driveway, walkway, xeriscape, and drip system (as well as a sprinkler system for the backyard). I'm very pleased with the result and the timeliness in which they were able to complete the project.
