We have been lucky enough to work with Austin Gardeners on 3 projects in the last 5 years, 2019-2023! They completed work on 2 different homes for us. Photos below are from the most recent project. I cannot say enough about the level of professionalism, attention to detail, and quality AG has provided to us in the last 5 years. Even during the pandemic, Manuel and his team worked to ensure a quality job was done. They do NOT hire contract workers to show up to do the work, but instead have a team they have trained to complete a quality job. One of my favorite things about AG is that Manuel is so good about working with you as the project evolves. Additionally, you can trust that your investment is protected and you will end up with a quality project. We will continue the evolution of our property with no company other than AG and are excited to see what the future holds.

We used Austin Gardeners for the landscaping of our newly built custom home in the Lake Georgetown area. This was the second time we used their services, after we did a smaller project for the backyard of our house in Cedar Park five years ago. We have been very pleased with Austin Gardeners with both projects. Mr. Soto took the time to understand our ideas and provided valuable insights to help us bring them to live. We had Austin Gardeners pour a slab in the front for a "happy hour sitting spot," build a steel-rimmed fire pit area, add extra coping around the existing pool, and build a deck around the hot tub and part of the pool.
Home run! Everything is solid and looks fantastic. We love going out there now, and can't wait for pool season to start again! Thank you so much for the amazing work!!

Writing about work I had done in 2020, which I had spent about 25k for.
I had my front yard grass replaced, xeriscaping and plants added. The landscaping work done out front is mostly fine, tho the metal trim used rusted nearly immediately (unsure if inevitable or just cheap material). They re-sodded grass on top of my HVAC drainage pipe, which caused HVAC issues that needed repairing, and I had to hire someone to then dig out the pipe. The plants and xeriscaping have held up fine.
Backyard even more of a mixed bag - more xeriscaping and pathing added which was fine. They put in a water pond feature which had issues immediately that I tried to troubleshoot with them, and when I continued to have issues I did work with multiple other contractors to fix for a few thousand dollars. The pond also has foam glue and tarp showing from where they didn’t install rocks fully, which when I asked them to fix they said the plants they installed would cover them - those plants eventually died, and pond doesn’t look great.
The limestone patio cracked within two years of install, ofc happening beyond the one year warranty they had offered. Another contractor confirmed this was due to poor installation.
I also had a firepit installed, which also cracked on the base within two years. I recently discovered this was due to them placing it on TOP of an irrigation sprinkler I had in addition to it not being installed correctly, so water was pooling under the structure. I now have to work with a contractor to reroute the irrigation system in this area, as not only is it cracking the firepit further, it ruined pressure to other sprinkler heads in that zone.
Honestly wild how many issues I’ve had to fix due to their work, which is excessive due to the cost I paid. I don’t know how an informed project manager would have missed these important details during the work being done. Hopefully their attention to detail has improved over the last few years, but I wouldn’t recommend.

Our irrigation system was ruined with a pool install so we got a couple quotes and Austin gardeners were very reasonable in their pricing. We added on a couple retaining walls to the complete irrigation rework. They got started sooner than anticipated and took about 3 days to complete everything. They did exceptional work and anytime we had a concern or question, they already had a solution or answer. They were all so nice and went above and beyond. Would definitely work with them again!
