VERY difficult experience. Be careful if you choose Island Way Clean & Seal. I had used them before successfully. I have documents that support everything that follows. I paid them $947 which makes this the Cadillac cost of pressure wash and seal. I also told them that I would be out for 1 week+ after the pressure washing would take place. When I returned home from my trip I found that Island Way had left several of my belongings (including my Gas Grill!) out on our lawn for the previous 11 days, enduring rain and sprinklers for the entire time. I notified Island Way immediately and it took them more than 24 hours to tell me they were "looking into it". There is nothing to look into, my things were simply on the ground in my backyard. I told their owner that I expected he and the technician to come out and fix this mistake and that I wanted confirmation. After 5 emails were not responded to, I opted to put the soaking things back myself. Unfortunately, as the pictures will attest, the grill did not make it. The wheels were embedded in the ground and it began to fall apart as I tried to return it to the porch. The rest of the soaking items took 10 minutes to put back, but damaged my lawn and the items themselves were soiled. After I had decided that Island Way was not going to own this, and I took action on my own, the owner emailed me (more than 48 hours after my initial email) and indicated that for excessive amounts of items they would have needed to charge extra to move them. You will see in the pictures that the items are not excessive, and again they took 10 minutes to put back (except the grill that is now finished). I looked back at communications from Island Way, and of the 7 emails related to the service there was one that said there may be a fee to move items - it was buried at the bottom of the 1 email and was inconspicuous. And the other 6 emails said nothing about this. In addition, I don't believe the actual work product was great either - enclosing a pic of tiles where there are gaps and no sealing. Super disappointed I paid so much and have lost my grill, which I use 4x/week. Good luck if you choose them! Price assessment Overpriced Services Service not listed

They performed a Clean and Seal at the end of December 2021. Within 3 months weeds and grass were coming through the paver seams. They would not stand behind the work that they did. I would not recommend them for any service they offer. People can see the photographs. They can't deny the did the service Dec. 2021. We did our fair share of research and after (3) companies gave us their guarantee of work and quotes we had additional communication with Island Way Clean and Seal and felt comfortable awarding our contract to them and very satisfied with their service and work. They completed what that said they would do and on the schedule we agreed on. Quality job, good warranty (hope we don’t need), at a fair (not cheapest) cost. This paver deck is just over 20 years old - installed early 2023 for reference and looks brand new!
