First off, the fence looks great, was custom built and Florida Fence's price was the cheapest in town. After the experience of dealing with them, I now understand why they are the cheapest. To begin, the owner quoted me 10 feet short on my fencing. The installers dug a post hole and cut my internet cable. When I asked them about it their reply was "yes, was it important?" When I called the office, the receptionist argued with me that it was not possible...even though the installer admitted to it. The cable was even flagged. So I had to pay to have a new cable wire run and buried. Lastly, when it came time to pay my final bill, I called the office to pay with a credit card. The same receptionist informed me that they do accept credit cards but would prefer I mail a check. I explained that I would prefer to pay with a credit card, since I was on the phone with her now, and I didn't have time to go to the post office. She then proceeded to insist that a mailed check was the only way I could pay, even though by her admittance, they accept credit cards. After 10 minutes of nonsense, I asked to speak to her manager or the owner. The manager took my cc info and I was never happier to be done dealing with the worst customer service rep ever. Florida Fence of Tampa is lacking in attention to detail and has terrible customer service...be warned.

Waaaay too overpriced. They are a subcontractor for Home Depor but instead of pricing at HD dense rates which would come out to $300 in materials plus labor, they wanted me to pay $1200 to install 50' of fence on clear land. Crazy! I ended up paying another highly rated local company $500 for the same job.

Horrible experience with this company. Come home one day multiple workers are blocking my garage and I see I have a brand new fence out back. Did not request it or order it and it was 2 feet into my property and do not appreciate people coming into my property unasked. It got removed finally left a huge mess and massive holes, which broke one of my dogs legs. They ruined my yard multiple times and broke my dogs leg never once apologize or anything.
On 10/17/25, I contacted your company multiple times and left several messages without receiving a response. The fence installation was completed by my HOA without prior notification, and I returned home to find debris and individuals on my property. The workmanship was unacceptable—my yard was left with exposed concrete and holes instead of being restored to its original condition. Due to this poor quality, my dog has suffered a severe injury. This level of service reflects a lack of competence and accountability.

After various quotes from different fence companies and facing an 8-10 week backlog installation after permitting approval we came across Family Fence. They were not only competitive on price on April 13,2023 they estimated the install date would be within 1 week after permit approval. They were right on the money from estimate date to install date. May 4th 2023 Install was complete and we now have a beautiful white vinyl fence with federation caps and gates ready for hurricane season. The permitting approval took the longest. The install Team was very professional and accommodating.
