My no climb horse fence needed repair and I call Elrod Fence and spoke with Brad. We made a plan that he would call me when he was in our area. He called when I wasn't home and left a message saying he'd call back. He never called back. I called their office number and told them the story. They promised he'd call me. Never did.

I had three rail fencing that needed to become safe for foals and mares. I was afraid that foals would roll under it or step over the lowest rail. Elrod Fencing attached "no climb" fencing and "Delmar fencing." Their workmanship was outstanding. The man who was the head of the crew deftly welded and took charge of the project with a smile. Fred Auer, the sales rep and contact man, knew what was happening and was receptive to needs and brought them to reality. It was a great experience. I would contact Elrod Fencing another time! Unfortunately we used Elrod Fencing because we had heard good things. Once we hired them they arrived 40min late, within the first 20min they hit a main electrical conduit causing us to lose all power to our home. We had property properly blue staked. We were told by Brad(owner) that since it fell on our side of the pedestal it was not their responsibility and they were not going to help. They were using their heavy electrical machinery within less then 2ft of our electrical pedestal. We had to relocate to a friend's home to not miss work/school not to mention no a/c for our household. Upon returning not only was the conduit damage not addressed but they had continued to place the fencing in that immediate area and poured cement as well. We were under the impression they would address the damage before putting up any fencing in that immediate area. We now have fencing around 3 sides of our electrical pedestal all within less then 2ft when it is required to be at least 3ft by law and Elrod has washed their hands of the situation. The company never even took the time to come out and look at the damage caused by their worker. We are a week out and I have a huge hole next to improperly placed fence that has a temp fix on a major electrical conduit. I have children and pets. I am besides myself with the lack of service and concern from ELROD.

Elrod Fence broke a pool pipe while excavating to secure a pool fence post in our yard. We called a company to repair the pipe. Elrod came back and completed the fence repairs after the pool pipe had been repaired. The next morning my wife dropped payment to Elrod in the mail at 9AM on her way out of town. Elrod Accounts Receivable called my wife on her cell phone that afternoon and told her, before she could say anything, that if she didn't make payment immediately Elrod would file a lien on our home. My wife does A.R. for our business. This is NOT how you win repeat business or get rave reviews in a small town like Cave Creek..
