The result is a yard that needs fewer inputs each year as the plantings settle in and mature. We also pay attention to soil health and how water moves across your property, so the landscape can manage itself more of the time. If you want a yard that is kind to local...

We handle the labor and logistics so the planting goes in right the first time and get...

A Florida native garden draws on the plants that grew here long before lawns were common, from flowering shrubs to grasses and wildflowers. We design gardens that suit your yard's sun, shade, and drainage, and that give you blooms through much of the year. Each garden is planned so that the plants support one another, with taller species providing shelter and lower ones filling in the ground. You get a garden that feels rooted in its place and that draws butterflies, bees, and songbirds, all whi...

Ecological landscape planning looks at your property as a system rather than a collection of beds and lawn. Our plans identify where native habitat can connect to what is already growing nearby and how to build resilience against heavy rain and dry spells. The planning phase gives you a sequenced roadmap, so you can see what gets done first and how the landscape shou...

Native landscapes are meant to need less work than conventional lawns and ornamental beds, and we design with that goal in mind. We select plants that stay in proportion to their space, resist local pests, and handle South Florida's weather without much help. Once established, these plantings typically need only occasional pruning and weeding. We will walk you through what the landscape will need over time, so you know what to expect. It is a practical way to keep a beautiful yard without spendi...

A wildlife habitat garden gives birds, pollinators, and other local creatures food, cover, and water in a yard they can actually use. We choose native plants that provide nectar through the seasons, seed and berries for birds, and host plants for butterfly caterpillars. The garden is arranged in layers, from groundcover to canopy, so animals have shelter as well as food. Over time, you will notice more visitors and more activity in the space. We design these gardens for South Florida wildlife, s...
