We had an excellent experience with GBC, and truly can’t say enough great things about them. They redid our roof, and from start to finish, they were incredibly professional, punctual, and hardworking. What impressed us most was their reliability — they showed up exactly when they said they would and completed the entire job within the promised three-day timeline, even while working through difficult weather conditions.
My husband and I have been in the middle of a major home remodeling project, so we’ve worked with several contractors over the past months. I can honestly say this team stood out as one of the very best. They followed through on their word, stayed on schedule, and delivered outstanding quality workmanship.
Jason, the project manager, was especially kind, respectful, and extremely responsive. In fact, everyone we interacted with at the company communicated clearly and consistently, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Their level of professionalism and follow-through really sets them apart.

Last year we started two projects with GBC. We had a roof leak in our granny flat, and of course it was during the rainy season! GBC tarped our roof so we would not have any additional damage while we were waiting to start the re-roofing. We also had solar they had to take off and reinstall.
Once the roof was completed, we started on repairing and Tex-Cote CoolWall strip and paint. Our eves were rotted and they had to replace all that too.
The work took a bit of time because we have the area of two large homes. They did a great job. They inspected with me a number of times to make sure I was happy with the their progress. Their constant refrain was, are you happy? It was, whatever you need to complete the job to your satisfaction.
They were very professional and treated my property with respect!

I recently had my entire tile roof replaced by GBC, and overall, I’m very pleased with both the quality of the work and the customer service I received.
That said, I would suggest that future customers stay involved and ask questions as the work progresses. The only area that fell short for me was the finishing details. For example, the roof flashing was painted a terracotta color instead of matching my house color as it was before. I actually had the correct paint on hand and would have gladly provided it if asked. I ended up repainting some of the flashing the correct color myself that I could reach. The new flashing looked a little rough (photo). I have hired a painter to finish the rest that I’m not able to reach.
There were also a few unexpected design changes, such as new scuppers that now drain directly onto my porch. These weren’t part of the original setup and look a bit out of place. I wish I had been consulted about that decision ahead of time so we could have discussed other options.
Despite those issues, I’m happy with the overall result and would consider using GBC again in the future—with the benefit of experience to ask more questions along the way.

We discovered that we had a pretty bad leak in our roof during the recent rainy weeks. I went online and did a lot of research and contacted several roofing companies that seemed to have really good reviews. Since it was a Sunday, I wasn't expecting to actually be able to reach anyone. Fortunately, I did get a hold of someone at GBC Remodeling and they sent someone out to my house right away to inspect the damage, tarp off my roof and provide me with some solutions.
To make a long story short, I ended up choosing to completely re-roof my house (23 year old underlayment was at the end of its useful life). Aaron, the owner, maintains a phenomenal crew that worked fast, was very friendly and always kept me updated on the progress throughout the job. It was a very big job...I didn't realize how much brute effort was required to remove the heavy concrete tiles and the level of skill to remove the old underlying felt waterproofing and replacing it with modern fiberglass reinforced roof system. They were meticulous in their work! I flew my drone up at the end of each work day to inspect the work and I have to say I was extremely impressed! They definitely took their time to do the job well and made sure every inch of my roof was properly sealed. After they completed the job, they sent an inspector out and walked us through the details of the job and made sure to address any questions or concerns. We didn't have any concerns however, as they kept us well informed and was always transparent with what they were doing and the progress. They left our house (which looked like a construction site during the day) completely spotless and clean at the end of each work day. At the end of the job, all that was left was our perfectly reinstalled roof! We are super happy and relieved that we don't have to worry about our roof again for decades to come!
