We document every finding in detailed reports that help you track your equipment's health over time.

For industrial facilities with heavy power demands, we create specialized maintenance schedules that account for your specific operational cycles, environmental conditions, and regulatory requirements. Whether you need monthly inspections, quarterly testing, or annual comprehensive servicing, we'll design a plan that maximizes your generator's lifespan while minimizing unexpected downtime.

Lightning strikes and power surges pose serious threats to your commercial facility's electrical systems, equipment, and operational continuity. Southeastern Power Systems provides comprehensive lightning protection solutions designed specifically for businesses in Cumming where severe weather can disrupt operations and cause costly damage.

Our lightning protection systems begin with a thorough assessment of your facility's vulnerabilities. We evaluate building structure, electrical infrastructure, grounding systems, and the specific equipment that needs protection. From sensitive computer systems and manufacturing controls to emergency power equipment and communication networks, we identify every point where surges could enter and cause damage.

We install professionally engineered surge protection devices (SPDs) at critical points in your electrical system, including service entrances, distribution panels, and individual equipment connections. These devices work like pressure relief valves for electricity, diverting dangerous voltage spikes safely to ground before they can reach your valuable equipment. For facilities with particularly sensitive electronics or those in high-risk areas, we implement layered protection strategies with multiple SPD classes working together.

Our team also addresses proper grounding—a fundamental but often overlooked component of effective lightning protection. We ensure your facility has low-impedance grounding paths that can safely dissipate lightning energy into the earth. This includes testing existing ground systems and making necessary improvements to meet or exceed National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Lightning Protection Institute (LPI) standards.

As a veteran-owned business serving the Southeast, we understand the region's unique weather patterns and their impact on commercial operations. Our solutions aren't generic; they're tailored to your specific facility type, equipment inventory, and risk profile. Protect your investment and maintain business continuity with lightning protection systems you can trust from Southeastern Power Systems.

Proper generator installation and regular life safety inspections are critical for businesses that depend on emergency power systems. At Southeastern Power Systems, we provide professional installation services and comprehensive inspections that ensure your generator not only works but does so safely and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards in Cumming.

Our installation process begins with a detailed site assessment where we evaluate your power requirements, available space, fuel source options, and local code requirements. We don't just drop off equipment; we design complete power solutions that integrate seamlessly with your existing electrical infrastructure. Our technicians handle everything from proper concrete pad preparation and secure mounting to correct electrical connections, fuel line installation, and exhaust system routing that meets ventilation requirements.

We pay particular attention to grounding and bonding—critical safety elements that protect both equipment and personnel. Every installation includes thorough testing under load conditions to verify proper operation before we consider the job complete. We also provide comprehensive documentation including wiring diagrams, maintenance schedules, and compliance certificates for your records.

For existing emergency power systems, our life safety inspections go beyond basic functionality checks. We perform the rigorous testing required by NFPA 110, NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), and Joint Commission standards for healthcare facilities. Our inspections include automatic transfer switch testing, emergency lighting verification, fuel system integrity checks, and full-load bank testing to ensure your generator can handle its rated capacity.

As a service-disabled veteran-owned business with over 25 years of experience, we bring unmatched discipline and attention to detail to every installation and inspection. We understand that emergency power isn't just about convenience—it's about life safety for hospitals, data centers, manufacturing facilities, and commercial buildings throughout the Southeast. Trust Southeastern Power Systems for installations and inspections that prioritize both performance and safety.
