I’ve been looking to work with Mustafa from Tactical Electrical for the past 2 years, considering him for several of my clients’ electrical upgrade projects. We finally had the opportunity to work together on a recent project where my client decided to invest in upgrading, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results.
From the very start, Mustafa was hands-on, approachable, and easy to communicate with. I really appreciate that he always makes time for a walk-through, which is important when planning any electrical work. Over the past year or so, Mustafa has visited at least two or three potential projects to review lighting needs, and although those clients ultimately decided to delay their electrical upgrades, he was always willing to come out, which speaks to his professionalism and commitment.
Another thing I really appreciate about working with Mustafa is his consistent communication. I know many people struggle to get contractors to return their calls or make time for a walk-through, but Mustafa is always responsive and diligent. Whether it’s for myself, neighbors, or future clients, I’m happy to have found someone reliable and trustworthy. He is friendly, easy going, professional, communicative, and has great problem-solving skills, especially when working with various restrictions, such as city and building rules or previous installations. He was incredibly thorough during the walk-through, even opening up boxes in the drop-down ceilings to assess the options for changing recessed lighting. A few days after the walk-through, we received his quote. When I reached out to discuss it, he made himself available to go over it.
Also, I truly appreciated Mustafa’s flexibility. When I requested changes to the scope of work to better fit my client’s needs and budget, he was more than happy to accommodate. Unlike another electrical contractor I reached out to, who was a bit defensive and dismissive when discussing changes, Mustafa was open to adjustments, ensuring the quote aligned with what the client wanted. I am happy to have found an electrician who is willing to be flexible, whether it's a large project or a smaller job.
Once we settled on the scope of work and the client approved, the project was scheduled, building insurance and paperwork was provided shortly thereafter, and then within a few short weeks the project began. The project involved replacing track lighting, updating kitchen lights, adding new bathroom and hallway fixture, and installing an additional outlet. Mustafa’s pricing was competitive, and his responsiveness was helpful during the entire process. While I was out shopping for light fixtures, I could always reach him, and he was available to answer questions.
Despite a few typical setbacks, the day the 2 to 3 day project started, Mustafa showed up and I had the pleasure of meeting Segundo who completed the work on this project. Segundo was professional, timely, courteous, and efficient. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was very diligent about cleaning up after the work was completed. He even went above and beyond when a bathroom light fixture didn’t have the proper faceplate. He took his time to ensure everything was perfect, and I felt he was genuinely invested in the project. It was clear he took pride in his work and enjoyed seeing the client’s reaction to each change.
Overall, I will continue to use Tactical Electrical for all my clients’ electrical needs. I’ve already referred them to others in need of upgrades. Remember, electrical work can be an investment, but it’s one that will greatly enhance your home’s value, whether you’re living in it, renting, or selling.
