King Contracting

Transform your ordinary concrete slab into a sleek, high-performance surface with our professional polished concrete services in Phoenix. This process involves mechanically grinding, honing, and polishing the concrete with diamond-embedded abrasives to achieve a desired level of sheen and aggregate exposure, from a subtle matte finish to a brilliant high-gloss mirror.

Ideal for retail stores, showrooms, warehouses, offices, and even modern homes, polished concrete is not just about aesthetics. It creates an incredibly durable, low-maintenance floor that resists stains, dust, and wear. We offer various aggregate levels, from a smooth 'cream finish' to a dramatic 'salt and pepper' or 'large aggregate' look, allowing you to customize the appearance to match your brand or design vision.

Our process begins with a thorough assessment and preparation of your existing slab. Using state-of-the-art planetary grinders, we systematically work through the grinding stages, followed by densifying (hardening) the concrete to increase its strength and resistance. Finally, we polish it to your selected sheen level. The result is a floor that is easy to clean, reflects light to brighten your space, and provides a sophisticated, professional atmosphere that impresses clients and employees alike. For the best polished concrete results in Phoenix, trust the precision and experience of King Contracting.

Protect and enhance your concrete floors with our durable, high-performance epoxy coating systems, trusted by industrial, commercial, and garage owners across Phoenix. An epoxy coating is a resin-based material that forms a seamless, thick plastic-like surface over your concrete, creating a barrier that is resistant to chemicals, impacts, abrasion, and moisture.

We provide custom epoxy solutions tailored to your specific environment. Whether you need a heavy-duty floor for a manufacturing plant that withstands chemical spills and forklift traffic, a sanitary and easy-to-clean surface for a commercial kitchen, or a decorative flake finish for your garage or retail space, we have the expertise and materials to deliver. Our coatings can include anti-slip additives for safety and come in a wide range of colors and finishes.

The King Contracting process ensures longevity. It starts with critical surface preparation, including repair, grinding, and cleaning, to ensure optimal adhesion. We then apply a primer coat followed by the colored epoxy resin and, if desired, broadcast decorative vinyl flakes. A final clear topcoat is applied for added protection and gloss. This multi-layer system creates a seamless, non-porous surface that is incredibly easy to maintain and will look great for years. For a floor coating solution that combines brute strength with visual appeal, our epoxy coatings are the smart choice.

Unlock the artistic potential of your concrete with our custom decorative staining services in Phoenix. Unlike paint that sits on the surface, concrete stains penetrate the pores of the concrete to create rich, variegated, and permanent color effects that won't peel, fade, or chip like traditional coatings can.

This service is perfect for homeowners wanting a unique patio or interior floor, restaurants aiming for a warm ambiance, or retail stores seeking to create a distinctive branded environment. We offer both acid-based and water-based stains. Acid stains react chemically with the concrete to produce beautiful, earthy tones (browns, tans, terra cottas, and soft blues) with a marbled, one-of-a-kind look. Water-based stains provide a broader, more consistent palette of vibrant colors and are easier to control for specific designs.

Our skilled artisans treat each project as a custom piece. We begin by preparing the concrete surface, which may involve cleaning, grinding, or etching. The stain is then carefully applied by hand, allowing us to manipulate the color intensity and create unique patterns. Once the desired effect is achieved, we seal the floor with a high-quality sealer to protect the color, enhance the sheen, and provide a durable, easy-to-clean surface. With King Contracting, you get more than a colored floor; you get a lasting work of art that adds significant value and character to your property in Phoenix.

Preserve the integrity and appearance of your concrete slabs with our professional joint filling and sealing services in Phoenix. Control joints are deliberate cracks cut into concrete to control where it cracks due to shrinkage and temperature changes. If left unfilled, these joints can trap dirt and debris, allow water infiltration that erodes the sub-base, and become unsightly tripping hazards.

This essential maintenance service is critical for warehouse floors, parking lots, driveways, and any large concrete expanse. We use high-quality, flexible sealants and fillers designed to withstand compression, expansion, and UV exposure. Properly filled joints prevent water from seeping underneath the slab (which can cause cracking and settling), keep out incompressibles like rocks, and maintain a clean, professional look.

Our process involves meticulously cleaning out all existing debris and old filler from each joint using specialized tools like routers and blowers. We then apply a backer rod to control the depth of the sealant before installing the new, durable joint filler. The final result is a smooth, flexible seal that moves with the concrete, protecting your investment from the elements and heavy traffic. For property managers and business owners in Phoenix looking to extend the life of their concrete surfaces and improve safety, our joint filling expertise is a cost-effective and vital service.
