We bought a house built in 1978 in South El Monte. The hvac system was pretty old, with one unit from the early 90s and the other from about a decade ago, so we knew we needed reliable hvac service fast. We got referred to this company by the previous owners, and we're really glad we listened. Since moving in, we've called Luis three times for hvac help. Each time, he responded quickly and got our system running again right away. The first time was for the AC, and he fixed it on his first visit for a fair price. The second call was urgent because the heater stopped working during a colder week, but Luis was able to repair it during his initial visit, so we didn’t have to worry. The third time, we reached out late in the evening when our old heater started acting up again. Even though it was pretty late, Luis came out that night and found that one of the heating strips was blown. He explained our options—either try to find a replacement part for the old unit or replace the inside portion of the hvac system and keep the outdoor condenser since it was still working fine. After thinking it over, we decided to replace the inside unit. Luis got everything together quickly and was back the next morning with a helper to install it. While he was there, he also checked our newer hvac unit to make sure it was running well, since it had been installed in 2010. Luis is always on time, polite, and hard-working. We even trusted him to come in when we weren't home, which says a lot. We are really happy to have found our go-to hvac guy in South El Monte and would recommend him to anyone who needs help with their heating or air conditioning.

I've revised my prior negative feedback as I finally had my AC serviced by Pros El Monte Air Conditioning, and it's now working perfectly. The issue was with my old home warranty company, and sadly, no contractor was willing to work with them due to delayed or insufficient payments. After being permitted to find our own contractor, we reached out to five different firms in South El Monte, but all declined. Luis from Pros El Monte Air Conditioning visited last week, repaired the AC and gave me valuable information about AC filters. He was both friendly and professional. My only regret is not being aware of the problems with the home warranty company sooner. I understand that HVAC contractors are extremely busy at certain times of the year, so non-emergency services might take a while to be addressed. In severe summers, those with non-functioning ACs are understandably a priority. My AC worked, but it wasn't cooling well and was using up too much electricity! Luis called to explain the situation with these home warranty companies today, and I had completely forgotten about the review I had posted out of frustration with the whole situation. It's tough to feel positive when things aren't going your way and you can't seem to make progress or find a reason why. For my family, it was five weeks of unanswered emails and phone calls, not just with the AC and home warranty, but also with other professionals. Thanks to the efforts of Luis and his team, we are no longer hot and worried about cooling!

we have used this company for heater repair and maintenance in all our rental properties and our home. after a short vacation, we came back to south el monte and found our heater not working at all. we called and theodore came over right away. after checking everything, he told us we needed a brand new heating system. theodore was honest and clear, and explained every option so we could choose what was best for us. he let us know the price and when he could start. he and his helper arrived exactly on time, did all the work from morning until afternoon, cleaned up after themselves, and showed us how to use the new thermostat. he also left all the paperwork for the new system and thermostat. the final cost was just what he quoted. we feel sure the installation was done right and our new heater will last a long time.
