Martinez Power Electric LLC

Building a new home or commercial space in Houston? A robust and properly planned electrical system is the lifeblood of any modern property. At Martinez Power Electric LLC, we provide comprehensive electrical solutions for new construction projects, managing every critical phase from the initial permit acquisition to the final inspection and energization.

This service is essential for homeowners, general contractors, and commercial developers who require a reliable partner to handle the complex electrical infrastructure of a new build. Our process begins with a detailed consultation to understand your project's specific needs, from lighting layouts and appliance circuits to data cabling and future-proofing for smart home technology. We then handle all the technical planning, ensuring code compliance with local Houston and Texas regulations, and secure the necessary permits.

Our skilled team executes the installation with precision, installing service panels, running wiring through walls and conduits, placing outlets and switches, and setting up dedicated circuits for major appliances. We are the best choice because of our 20 years of experience navigating Houston's specific building codes and our commitment to energy-efficient practices that can save you money long-term. We ensure your new construction has a safe, scalable, and powerful electrical foundation that meets today's demands and is ready for tomorrow's innovations.

Electrical problems often remain hidden until they cause a failure, a fire, or a costly shutdown. Our Infrared Thermography Service in Houston uses advanced thermal imaging technology to identify these hidden electrical and mechanical issues before they develop into serious hazards.

This non-invasive diagnostic service is crucial for proactive homeowners, facility managers, and business owners who want to ensure the safety and reliability of their electrical systems. It is especially valuable for older properties, commercial buildings with heavy electrical loads, and industrial settings. The process involves our certified technicians using a specialized infrared camera to scan your electrical panels, connections, switchgear, and other components. This camera detects subtle temperature variations caused by loose connections, overloaded circuits, faulty breakers, or failing components—issues invisible to the naked eye.

We provide you with a detailed report showing thermal images and explaining any anomalies found. Choosing Martinez Power Electric LLC for this service means partnering with a team that prioritizes prevention. Our expertise allows us to interpret thermal data accurately and recommend precise, cost-effective repairs. This proactive approach can prevent unexpected downtime, reduce fire risk, and extend the lifespan of your electrical equipment, giving you peace of mind and protecting your Houston property investment.

Transitioning to an electric vehicle is a smart choice, and having a dedicated, professionally installed charging station at your Houston home or business makes it seamless and efficient. Martinez Power Electric LLC has extensive experience installing Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations for a wide range of car models, handling both Level 1 and faster Level 2 charger setups.

This service is designed for EV owners who want the convenience and speed of home charging, as well as commercial property owners looking to attract customers or tenants by offering charging amenities. The installation process starts with an assessment of your electrical panel's capacity to ensure it can safely support the additional load of an EV charger. We will discuss optimal placement—typically in a garage or near a driveway—considering cable length and accessibility.

Our licensed electricians then perform the installation, which may involve running a new dedicated circuit from your main panel, installing a suitable outdoor-rated receptacle or hardwiring the charging unit, and ensuring all work meets the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local Houston requirements. We are the best choice because we don't just install a plug; we ensure your home's electrical system is upgraded appropriately to handle the sustained load safely. Our 20 years of electrical expertise guarantee a reliable, code-compliant installation that protects your vehicle, your home, and your family, allowing you to charge with confidence.

Power outages in Houston can disrupt your life and business. A permanently installed generator inlet with an interlock system provides a safe, reliable, and code-compliant solution for maintaining power during an outage, far superior to dangerous extension cord "backfeeding" methods.

This service is ideal for homeowners and business owners who own a portable generator and want a safe, permanent way to connect it to their building's electrical panel. The process involves our expert electricians installing a specialized inlet box on the exterior of your property. From there, we run conduit and wiring to your main electrical service panel. The critical safety component is the interlock kit—a mechanical device installed on the panel that physically prevents both the main breaker and the generator breaker from being turned on simultaneously. This prevents deadly backfeed of electricity to the utility lines, protecting utility workers and your home.

When the power goes out, you simply start your generator, plug it into the outdoor inlet, and follow the safe switching procedure enabled by the interlock. Choosing Martinez Power Electric LLC ensures this potentially hazardous installation is done correctly. Our deep understanding of electrical codes and safety protocols in Houston means your backup power system will be not only convenient but also utterly safe for your family, your property, and the community, giving you reliable peace of mind during any storm.
