Can’t say enough good things about this company. The owner Paul is very responsive and diligent. His customer service staff are very courteous and professional. I had several chandeliers hung and new install. The electricians, Joshua and Ryan were so professional and polite. They did a great job. Paul arranged drywall repair to the ceiling and The gentleman he sent; John, was also extremely professional and polite, did an excellent job and left the area looking like new. All in all, a great A+ experience. I never write reviews, but I really felt the need to do so in this case.

Excellent experience employing HR Phoenix Electrical Services to repair and upgrade my electrical system damage after the May 28, 2024 storms in Dallas, TX.
Losing power from a downed power line due to a fallen tree, I was immediately on the phone searching for emergency tree removal and electrical services repair.
Mr Paul Rylee (Owner of HR Phoenix) answered my call and was at my house within the hour.
After a complete review of the damage, and an explanation of code requirements by both the City of Dallas and ONCOR, I hired HR Phoenix to make all necessary repairs.
The HRP Electrical Repair Team arrived promptly on the morning of 5/29 Wed.
All repairs were completed the next day 5/30 Thr. with the team working through rain and thunderstorms that day. Great perseverance!
Special recognition to electricians Mike, Bobby, Alex, and Jay for their professional qualities!
Also, thank you to Erin in the office, as well as others, for their attention to my calls!

The communication and responsiveness was excellent. What was not great is that they rebuilt a toilet tank and then afterward recommended replacing the whole toilet. If they had just flushed the toilet before doing the original work they would have detected the issue. So I spent a lot of money on a repair and then was told I needed to replace the toilet.

We had a fantastic experience with HR Phoenix Electrical Services. Their team did an outstanding job helping us install several electrical upgrades in our business, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish.
They were professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the work clearly, made helpful recommendations, and ensured everything was installed safely and neatly. It’s rare to find a contractor who is both highly skilled and genuinely committed to great customer service.
The quality of the work was excellent, and they left everything clean and organized after completing the job. It’s clear they take pride in what they do. We started the project by obtaining three (3) bids and the value they brought to the project was exceptional. The cost was below the other contractors and they ensured some items we didn't scope were added to ensure the job was done correct the first time.
If you’re looking for a reliable, honest, and skilled electrical team, I would absolutely recommend HR Phoenix Electrical Services. We’ll definitely be calling them again for future projects.

They showed up at the restaurant on Friday around 3:45, kitchen lighting was not working. The guy had to call his boss, they stated it was a wiring problem and would be back Monday and charged me 800 dollars for an hour and a half and accomplished nothing. I couldn’t wait until Monday, so I called another electrician. It turned out it was a breaker and we had our lights back up and operational that night on Friday. I will never use these guys again. I’m sure they’re decent, but they’re not for me and my team

I had a very disappointing experience with HR Phoenix Electrical. The electrician arrived about 50 minutes late — which I was willing to overlook — but it quickly became clear the technician was moving extremely slowly. After taking a long time to diagnose the issue, he told me I simply needed a new GFCI outlet. I’ve replaced these myself before for under $20, so I was surprised when he quoted $298 for the hour, despite only being there roughly 30 minutes at that point.
He then said he had to leave and purchase a GFCI from a hardware store — surprising for such a basic and common part. He assured me he would be back, complete the work, and still finish within an hour total. Instead, he was gone about 25 minutes, returned, and ended up barely over the one-hour mark. Because of that, he charged me for a second full hour, even though the delay was entirely due to his slow pace and leaving to buy a part he should have had on-hand.
To make matters worse, I had a coupon for a free estimate that he said didn’t apply, meaning I would be charged even if I stopped the job — which is the only reason I didn’t cancel when I realized I couldn't supposedly use the coupon. Had I known I would be charged for two hours after the first scam, I would have asked him to leave within the first 30 minutes and handled the fix myself and saved hundreds of dollars.
This felt dishonest, overpriced, and like a bait-and-switch. I strongly recommend avoiding HR Phoenix Electrical. I hope sharing my experience helps others steer clear of the same situation.
