Progressive Hardscapes

Transform your outdoor spaces with the beauty and durability of custom stamped concrete from Progressive Hardscapes. Our stamped concrete solutions combine artistic design with reinforced structural integrity, creating paving surfaces that mimic natural stone, brick, tile, or wood while offering superior longevity and easier maintenance.

This service is perfect for homeowners seeking to elevate their patios, pool decks, and driveways, as well as commercial property owners looking for attractive, low-maintenance hardscapes for plazas, walkways, and entryways. We work with architects and builders to ensure the stamped pattern and color complement the overall design aesthetic of any project.

Our process begins with a thorough consultation to understand your vision and assess your space. We then prepare a detailed plan, selecting from hundreds of pattern and color combinations to match your style. Our skilled craftsmen pour and reinforce the concrete before meticulously applying the chosen pattern using specialized stamping tools. After curing, we apply sealing treatments that enhance the color and protect your investment from weather and wear.

Choosing Progressive Hardscapes means partnering with a company that has perfected this craft over generations. Our family-owned approach ensures personal attention to every detail, while our seven decades of experience guarantee proper installation techniques that prevent cracking and ensure lasting beauty. We're not just installing concrete—we're creating outdoor art that withstands the test of time in Phoenix's climate.

Discover the perfect blend of durability and aesthetic appeal with our exposed aggregate and decorative concrete finishes. At Progressive Hardscapes, we specialize in creating hardscape surfaces that are not only skid-resistant and long-lasting but also visually stunning through the strategic exposure of beautiful aggregates within the concrete matrix.

This service is ideal for residential driveways, walkways, and pool decks where safety and beauty are equally important, as well as commercial applications like shopping center walkways, public plazas, and restaurant patios that require both visual appeal and practical durability. Architects and designers appreciate our ability to incorporate unique materials including colored stones, glass, and recycled elements into custom designs.

Our installation process involves carefully mixing selected aggregates with high-quality concrete before pouring and leveling. Through precise timing and technique, we expose the aggregates to create textures ranging from lightly seeded to fully exposed finishes. We offer an unlimited variety of aggregate options, allowing for complete customization of color, texture, and reflectivity. Additional decorative techniques like acid washing, staining, and sand finishes can be incorporated for truly unique results.

As a family-owned business serving Phoenix since 1954, Progressive Hardscapes brings unmatched expertise to every exposed aggregate project. We understand how different aggregates perform in our local climate and can recommend the perfect combination for your specific application. Our commitment to quality means we don't cut corners—we ensure proper curing and sealing so your beautiful finish remains vibrant and functional for years to come.

Bring the timeless beauty of natural stone to your property with our expert sedimentary walls and SIREWALL® rammed earth installations. Progressive Hardscapes specializes in creating architectural wall systems that combine the strength of modern engineering with the organic appeal of sedimentary formations, perfect for retaining walls, garden borders, privacy screens, and striking architectural features.

This service serves homeowners seeking natural-looking landscape elements, commercial developers needing durable and attractive retaining solutions, and architects designing properties that blend seamlessly with their natural surroundings. Our walls are particularly valuable for properties with elevation changes, erosion concerns, or those simply looking to add dramatic visual interest to outdoor spaces.

The process begins with understanding your structural needs and aesthetic preferences. For sedimentary walls, we layer concrete with unique designs that mimic natural sedimentary rock formations, creating the appearance of centuries-old stonework. For SIREWALL® rammed earth installations, we use a complete wall system that compacts layers of soil mixtures within forms, resulting in walls with the strength of sedimentary sandstone and beautiful, natural striations. Each layer is carefully compacted and cured before the next is added, ensuring structural integrity.

Choosing Progressive Hardscapes for your wall projects means benefiting from specialized knowledge few companies in Phoenix possess. We're not just building walls—we're creating natural-looking landmarks that enhance property value while solving practical challenges. Our family's decades of experience with these techniques ensure proper drainage, reinforcement, and finishing that stands up to our local climate while maintaining its beautiful, natural appearance season after season.

Address stormwater management challenges while maintaining beautiful hardscapes with our pervious concrete and Drainscape® systems. Progressive Hardscapes provides environmentally conscious solutions that allow water to permeate through concrete surfaces, reducing runoff, replenishing groundwater, and helping properties meet environmental regulations without sacrificing aesthetic appeal.

This service is essential for commercial property owners managing large paved areas, municipalities implementing green infrastructure, residential communities with HOA requirements, and any project needing to meet stormwater management guidelines. It's particularly valuable for parking lots, driveways, walkways, and patios where both functionality and appearance matter.

Our installation process begins with assessing your site's drainage needs and soil conditions. We then prepare a specialized sub-base that facilitates proper water filtration. The pervious concrete mix, containing carefully graded aggregates with minimal fine materials, is poured and finished to create a porous surface that allows water to pass through at rates exceeding traditional pavement. Our Drainscape® system takes this further with engineered solutions for specific drainage challenges, combining functionality with decorative options.

As a leader in innovative concrete solutions since 1954, Progressive Hardscapes brings technical expertise and practical experience to every pervious concrete project in Phoenix. We understand local soil conditions, rainfall patterns, and municipal requirements, ensuring your installation performs optimally year-round. Our commitment to continuing education through AIA and ASLA accreditation means we stay current with the latest advancements in sustainable hardscape technologies, providing you with solutions that are both environmentally responsible and beautifully executed.
