HK Electric Inc

Is your home or business struggling with frequent breaker trips, flickering lights, or an inability to run modern appliances? Your outdated electrical panel is not just an inconvenience—it's a significant safety risk. An upgrade to a modern 200 AMP panel is essential for safety, insurance compliance, and supporting today's electrical demands.

This service is crucial for homeowners with older Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels, which are known fire hazards. It's also vital for anyone adding major appliances, finishing a basement, or installing an electric vehicle charger. Our licensed electricians in Crown Heights handle the entire process, from securing the necessary permits with the Department of Buildings to coordinating with Con Edison for the meter swap. We remove your old panel, install a new, UL-listed panel with proper grounding, and ensure everything passes final inspection. We provide all documentation, including our license number and stamped approval for your insurance company, giving you complete peace of mind.

Choosing HK Electric Inc means choosing a team that prioritizes clean workmanship and code compliance. We don't cut corners. We ensure your new panel is installed correctly, labeled clearly, and ready to power your life safely for decades to come.

Transitioning to an electric vehicle is an exciting step, but it requires a reliable and safe charging solution at home. A professional Level 2 EV charger installation maximizes your vehicle's charging speed, convenience, and safety, transforming your daily routine.

This service is designed for EV owners in Crown Heights who want a dedicated, high-power charging station installed in their garage, driveway, or on the side of their house. The process begins with a consultation to assess your electrical panel's capacity and determine the optimal location for the charger. Our experts handle all aspects, including pulling any required permits, installing a dedicated circuit from your panel to the charger location, mounting the charging unit, and performing thorough safety tests. We seamlessly coordinate with Con Edison when needed and ensure the installation meets all local electrical codes.

With HK Electric Inc, you benefit from our specialized knowledge in EV infrastructure. We take care of everything—from the initial quote to the final cleanup—offering a smooth, hassle-free experience. Our work includes a warranty, and we provide clear guidance on using your new charger. Don't trust this critical installation to a general handyman; rely on licensed electricians who understand the specific requirements of electric vehicle charging.

For business owners, developers, and property managers in Crown Heights, electrical system reliability is non-negotiable. Downtime means lost revenue, and safety violations mean hefty fines. Our comprehensive commercial and industrial electrical services are designed to keep your operations running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

We serve a wide range of clients, including retail stores, office buildings, manufacturing facilities, and new development projects. Our services encompass everything from routine maintenance and lighting retrofits to complex high-voltage installations, transformer setups, and full-scale electrical build-outs for renovations. We are adept at working as collaborative subcontractors for general contractors, ensuring clear communication and project timelines are met. A key specialty is violation removal; we expertly diagnose issues flagged by the DOB or FDNY and bring your property up to code, resolving fines and insurance concerns.

Choosing HK Electric Inc as your commercial electrical partner means gaining a team that understands the stakes. We prioritize minimal disruption to your business, maintain strict adherence to all commercial electrical codes (NEC, NYC EC), and provide detailed documentation for all work performed. Our professionalism, expertise in navigating city agencies, and commitment to quality make us the trusted choice for businesses that can't afford electrical uncertainty.
