Good afternoon all, Our office has found that correspondence with the owner on a subpoena is unprofessional and he is non-responsive, never in the office, and his employees are never able to give out a good contact or when he will be in the office. A subpoena is a legal document and and the fact that the owner and his staff seem to think it's not necessary to respond is absurd. Negative Responsiveness, Professionalism

We had a water leakage in my house that caused damage to our floors. We called WMF company and they responded quickly and came immediately to solve the issue in an hour. We had an absolutely horrible experience with this company in June 2019. Our landlord hired WMF Restoration of Austin for mold remediation work in our rental home. There was mold in several different areas of our rental home. The company assured us that secure containment areas would be set up so that we wouldn't need to remove our belongings from the house prior to the remediation being done, and could even continue living in the house during the 4 day process. Long story short, the remediation was done horribly wrong. No containment areas were set up, and when the walls were opened, mold then contaminated all of our belongings, including our 9 month old baby's entire nursery, crib, toys, etc. I cried when I saw their work (see pictures). The plastic sloppily taped to the walls is not how a containment area should look at all. When Mold Inspection & Testing (the 3rd party testing company) came back after this incompetent "remediation" they failed WMF Restoration's work immediately just by seeing their work and touching our belongings which were covered by then by a thick layer of mold and wall debris. Obviously if we would have known, we would have removed all of our belongings prior and even moved out. Our landlord then asked the SAME company to come back and "fix" it (it was too late to be fixed, our belongings just needed to be cleaned) against our wishes. However, as renters, we had no choice. WMF Restoration "fixed" their bad work by setting up containment areas over each door, as if they had done it correctly in the first place. This obviously made no sense, as our mold covered belongings were still in each room. Our renter's insurance policy didn't cover the damage as the mold was initially caused by rainwater (a fine print clause, apparently). So my husband and I, at great personal monetary and health costs, cleaned all of our belongings ourselves with a HEPA filter vacuum we bought ourselves, bleach, and hot water. We ended up throwing many of our clothes, our baby's toys, and our bed linens away and moving out of the house for good and renting an AirBnb to move into immediately as we looked for a new home. This was a traumatic experience for our family, especially as we worried about the potential heath impact to our baby. WMF Restoration not only botched the initial work, their "fix" did not include cleaning our belongings and seemed to be just a clear attempt to make it look like they had done the containment areas correctly in the first place, which was by then a moot point. Also, when I spoke to WMF Restoration's employees over the phone about their terrible work, they tried to tell me that it wasn't done incorrectly, even thought I had the Mold Inspection & Testing official report that they had failed the inspection after the remediation. Then they tried to blame their "local technician" who "wasn't properly trained." However, when they came back to "fix" it, then sent the same technician! It was a crazy-making experience that just added insult to injury. The attached photos speak for themselves.
