True Cool

When your air conditioner breaks down on the hottest day of the year, you need a reliable partner who can respond quickly and fix it right the first time. At True Cool Air Conditioning in Miami, our factory-trained technicians are equipped to diagnose and repair all major brands, from American Standard and Trane to Carrier and Goodman. We understand the urgency—that's why we prioritize emergency calls to restore your comfort as fast as possible.

Our repair process begins with a thorough inspection of your entire HVAC system. We don't just treat the symptom; we look for the root cause to prevent the same issue from recurring. Using advanced diagnostic tools, we pinpoint problems with compressors, capacitors, refrigerant leaks, electrical components, and more. You'll receive a clear, upfront estimate before any work begins, with no hidden fees.

Beyond emergency fixes, we strongly believe in proactive care through our Smart Maintenance Program. Regular, scheduled maintenance is the single best way to extend the life of your system, improve its efficiency, and prevent costly breakdowns. Our Safety & Efficiency Agreement (S.E.A.) includes comprehensive tune-ups, coil cleaning, system performance checks, and priority scheduling. We'll even contact you when service is due, taking the hassle out of home maintenance.

Why choose True Cool for your AC repair and maintenance? We are a local, family-owned business with deep ties to the community. Our technicians are not subcontractors; they are our employees, fully background-checked, insured, and committed to our high standards. With our A+ BBB rating, state certification (CAC050366), and nearly 100% customer satisfaction rating, you can trust us to be your true friend in the cooling business for years to come.

Investing in a new air conditioning system is a significant decision for your home and budget. At True Cool Air Conditioning in Miami, we don't just sell units—we design custom comfort solutions. As an authorized American Standard Customer Care™ Dealer and Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Contractor, we offer top-tier, energy-efficient equipment matched perfectly to your home's unique layout and your family's lifestyle.

Our installation process begins with a complimentary, in-home consultation and heat load calculation. This critical step, often skipped by other contractors, determines the precise capacity needed to cool and dehumidify your space efficiently. An oversized unit will short-cycle, wasting energy and failing to control humidity; an undersized unit will struggle to keep up. We get it right. We then provide a detailed system design recommendation, explaining the benefits of matched systems like the American Standard AccuComfort™, which uses variable-speed technology for precise temperature and humidity control.

We specialize in a variety of systems to meet any need: high-efficiency central air conditioners, heat pumps for year-round comfort, ductless mini-split systems for room additions or homes without ductwork, and advanced zoning solutions. We also integrate smart thermostats like Nest and whole-home air purification systems. Our certified installers treat your home with respect, using drop cloths and meticulous cleanup, ensuring a seamless upgrade.

Choosing True Cool means partnering with a contractor who stands behind the work for the long haul. We offer extended labor warranties and are approved by FPL, helping you access valuable utility rebates. Our owner and qualifier, Terry Zarling, personally inspects every installation. With decades of experience, factory training, and a commitment to honesty, we ensure your new system delivers optimal comfort, savings, and reliability for years to come.

The air inside your home can be up to five times more polluted than the air outside. For families in Miami dealing with allergies, asthma, or general discomfort, True Cool Air Conditioning provides comprehensive indoor air quality services that go far beyond temperature control. We tackle the source of pollutants and inefficiencies within your ductwork and living spaces.

Our professional duct cleaning service uses the innovative SpinVax 1000XT system with FlexTend™ Brush Technology. Unlike cheap vacuum-only services, our rotating brushes actively scrub the walls of your ducts—whether metal, flex, round, or rectangular—loosening years of accumulated dust, pollen, pet dander, and mold spores. A powerful, contained vacuum then removes the debris, preventing it from recirculating. This process results in noticeably cleaner air, reduced allergy symptoms, and a more efficient HVAC system that doesn't have to work as hard to push air through clogged passages.

If you have rooms that are always too hot or too cold, the problem might be leaky ducts. Our duct sealing service utilizes advanced AeroBarrier technology. This automated process detects and seals leaks from the inside out by deploying a non-toxic fog that seeks out and plugs gaps in your ductwork. The results are quantified with a pre- and post-test, often showing a dramatic reduction in leakage. Benefits include balanced temperatures throughout your home, lower energy bills, reduced dust, and less strain on your AC unit. This service may even qualify for energy efficiency tax credits.

For ongoing protection, we offer standalone air purifiers and integrated solutions like the Reme Halo or other in-duct systems that actively neutralize viruses, bacteria, and odors. Combined with our patented SlimeGuard service—a copper-based coating for your AC drain pan that prevents slime growth and water leaks—we provide a holistic approach to a healthier, more comfortable home. Trust the IAQ experts at True Cool to help your family breathe easier.
