Our company went there for a team bonding outing. I think we all had a lot of fun. It was something new and different to try but I walked away appreciating a sport I never gave a second thought to before. The two gentleman who ran our two hour session made the experience both educational and entertaining. They engaged every member of our group and broke down the learning process making it both easy and fun to learn! 5 Stars for these guys!

Every first Tuesday of the month is their social event where fencers can come and open fence. Because of that monthly tradition, I started to go and try out the club. I'm one those people who's very cautious and I observe people for years before I decide to get closer or more invested. Well, TFC is my registered club when I compete now. I fenced in college. Then I dabbled a little bit after when I can elsewhere. But it's because of TFC's 1st Tuesdays, I started to attend and observe for years. I asked several fencers I knew around the Bay Area how they felt about the club. So yes, there are pros and cons to every club but I ultimately decided to join this one. I can definitely say they have passion for fencing from the ground up, and that's literally true because they have grounded pistes. They have proper scoring systems. Their facility and hardware is top class. I've fenced at other clubs and I do not enjoy those plastic floors. TFC is the better deal. Fencing is expensive and they provide top class facilities and hardware. The other thing I enjoy about TFC is how well they take feedbacks. Although there are pros and cons to each club, I've already submitted all my feedbacks to their staff. That's where it belongs, and off of Yelp. A big thing I should mention is that last year I lost my glove at the club. It looks brand new and it's always clean. It was sitting in their lost and found for a whole month and no one took it. My glove size is a common size. This shows you what kind of community TFC has. People only take what's theirs. This is a nice community. This is why I'm glad I'm a member here.

Mike is a wonderful teacher and I really enjoyed the fencing experience. It was a lot of fun and much harder than I expected! I think it would be a great sport for any child, especially one that is more suited for an individual sport. I would highly recommend choosing this wonderful fencing location!
